EngageRocket BELONG
EngageRocket BELONG is a full listening programme with experts included. Much of what matters is agreed with each customer. That covers who can see named answers, where the data sits, what set-up costs and which benchmarks fit. The fees are for a year paid ahead and are non-cancellable. Get each point in writing before you sign.
BELONG brings experts and fees that are non-cancellable
BELONG surveys your staff and tells managers what to act on. A team of organisational psychologists and HR consultants comes with it.
You want experts to help run the programme. You are happy to commit to a year paid in advance.
You need to end the order mid-term without paying the rest. You have not checked that its benchmarks cover your staff’s countries.
EngageRocket sells BELONG as an annual subscription, quoted on request. Fees are invoiced a year ahead.
BELONG listens all year and tells managers what to do next
BELONG is the part of EngageRocket that listens to staff. It runs a yearly engagement survey and pulse checks that stay on all year. It also sends surveys at set points in an employee’s time at the company, such as joining and leaving. New hires get automatic check-ins at 30, 60 and 90 days, with action nudges to managers. BELONG also runs surveys on inclusion, psychological safety, wellbeing and change.
EngageRocket sells GROW alongside BELONG. GROW is multi-rater 360 feedback with an assessment of individual skill gaps. Everything below covers BELONG only.
Staff away from a desk, or who read another language, can still answer. Staff can also use EngageRocket through linked platforms such as Microsoft Teams. At Nexus Hospitals, around 80% of employees are nurses working away from a desk. They could scan a QR code or follow a web link. EngageRocket supports more than 75 languages. BELONG translates survey questions so employees answer in the language they prefer.
Managers see results by team, tenure and geography in heatmaps. BELONG flags at-risk teams and locations. It picks out the factors that most affect engagement and retention. Managers get action tips based on their team’s drivers and benchmarks. A manager can set goals, assign owners and track progress. BELONG sends reminders timed to results and due dates. It also links completed actions to later score changes.
The languages the comment AI reads are a question to settle. It sorts open comments into themes and sentiment. EngageRocket gives 75+ languages for sentiment analysis and 70+ for manager insights. Report screens come in 33+. Its privacy policy says EngageRocket makes no automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on people.
On 22 October 2026 EngageRocket announced EngageRocket AI for BELONG. It has two parts. Mira sums up survey results. It answers questions about scores, dimensions, trends and comparisons. The AI Dashboard Builder helps permissioned HR users create, refine and publish custom report screens. They use typed prompts. Through BELONG’s existing permissions, HR controls who can use Mira. HR also controls who can build or view published screens. Both reach data only through platform tools that enforce permissions. Before it publishes, the AI Dashboard Builder checks confidentiality thresholds. It also checks that no personally identifiable information is present.
BELONG gets its employee data in two ways. It can sync automatically with Workday or SuccessFactors, or you can upload an Excel file each month. EngageRocket adds that HR system links and company login depend on the client’s data set-up. They also depend on its security needs.
EngageRocket gives set-up times from one hour to eight weeks. Ask for a date for the first survey. BELONG’s own page gives as little as one hour and live within 2 weeks. The comparison page gives as little as one week, and two to four weeks from kickoff to the first survey. The home page FAQ gives 2 to 8 weeks from kickoff to launch for a standard deployment. A fast-track rollout across seven ASEAN countries took under one week.

Expert help, your own questions and a security record come with it
Experts included
EngageRocket gives you a dedicated customer success manager and onboarding support. You also get access to its People Science team. Expert HR advisory is part of every plan. EngageRocket’s own staff handle customer success and advisory. They also handle data migration and implementation support. EngageRocket also trains customer HR business partners so they can run their own programmes.
Your own questions
Customers can use EngageRocket’s framework or build their own with custom questions. EngageRocket offers more than 250 survey templates backed by people science. It works with any framework, scale or benchmark. Existing questions upload as they are. It supports locking the framework against changes after set-up.
A security record
EngageRocket is certified to ISO/IEC 27001, 27017 and 27018. It has also completed SOC 2 Type II attestation. Its trust centre lists company login, role-based access controls and audit logging as product security controls.
Participation figures
Customers report their own rates. G-Able has 2,600 employees. It reports an average participation rate of 88% in its surveys. Toyota Laos reports 100% participation for three years in a row. Toyota Laos used BELONG pulse survey, dimensions and impact analysis. Singapore Polytechnic reports over 80% participation in quarterly pulse surveys.
Much of what limits BELONG is set per customer or still in early access
Three limits on BELONG are settled with each customer. They are who sees answers, where data sits outside Singapore, and early-access terms. The others are plain limits. They are benchmark depth, comment warnings and flight risk. They also include the downtime remedy and fit for a lightweight need.
You sign with a Singapore company. Its terms let it pass your contract to a buyer without asking you. Under its terms, either party may assign the terms without the other party’s consent. That covers an affiliate, a merger, an acquisition, a reorganisation or an asset sale. Its privacy policy adds that personal data may be passed to an acquiring entity. EngageRocket Pte. Ltd. was founded in 2016. On 18 March 2020 it announced a S$3 million investment led by Qualgro. Total funding then stood at S$4.5 million.
Benchmarks are strongest in Asia-Pacific and the UK
EngageRocket’s own benchmarks are specific to Asia-Pacific. They draw on millions of responses. Its enterprise blog counts the Asia-Pacific and UK focus as a con. Its benchmark article says the data is responses from over 100,000 employees. Benchmarks from Mercer may be available as a separate paid add-on. This is under a strategic partnership.
Who sees answers is agreed per customer
EngageRocket agrees its confidentiality terms with each customer. Under the standard terms, managers and company admins get no individual responses linked to who answered. If the customer agrees, authorised Privileged Administrators may see answers and comments linked to who gave them. They may also see linked details of who took part. Group thresholds do not limit that access. EngageRocket shows group results only once the survey’s response threshold is met.
Comments can point to the writer
EngageRocket warns that details in a comment may let others tell who wrote it. Responses with threats of harm, harassment or other criminal or abusive content may be read one by one. In that case the participant’s identity may be disclosed. Its terms bar customers from trying to identify any one respondent.
Flight risk
BELONG’s Flight Risk Prediction flags employees most likely to leave 60 to 90 days before they resign. Whether a flag points to a person or a group, and who sees it, are questions for the demo. Under EngageRocket’s terms, outputs may be based on statistical models. The customer stays responsible for judging and acting on them.
Early-access AI
EngageRocket AI was announced on 22 October 2026. Early access is open to those who register interest. EngageRocket’s team will confirm who is eligible, when it rolls out and the commercial terms. Its terms cover early-access “Beta Features”. Those are for evaluation only. They may be modified, suspended or discontinued at any time without notice. They may not be subject to the uptime promise. The vendor advises checking important Mira figures against the live results before sharing them.
Where your data sits
For clients in Singapore, data sits in the Singapore cloud by default. For other markets, EngageRocket confirms data location rules before launch. Its trust centre lists AWS for IT infrastructure, beside Singapore and Ireland. EngageRocket works worldwide and may send personal data to countries outside the one where the person lives. For platform data, EngageRocket acts as processor and the customer is the controller.
Downtime remedy
A missed uptime promise earns a “service credit” of at most 15% of a month’s fee. The promise is commercially reasonable efforts for 99.5% availability in any calendar month. The remedy is 5% of the fee below 99.5% and at or above 98.5%. It rises to 10% below 98.5%, and 15% below 97.0%. It is the customer’s sole and exclusive remedy. The customer must ask in writing within 30 days of the end of the affected month.
A lightweight need
Its enterprise blog counts one con for small business buyers who want a lightweight tool. They may not get the best value. That blog calls the platform one built for enterprise and mid-market HR leaders. A blog on its US launch frames the opportunity as being for HR leaders in small to mid-size organisations.
EngageRocket quotes a yearly price and invoices it a year ahead
EngageRocket prices BELONG as an annual subscription. The price depends on employee count, the products you choose and the size of the programme. You get a quote on request. EngageRocket offers no free trial and points buyers to a tailored demo.
Set-up cost is a question to settle early. Its BELONG page gives value pricing with a single subscription and no separate implementation partner fee. Its comparison page makes set-up costs depend on scope. It adds that EngageRocket works from the buyer’s budget rather than a fixed quote. The same page says the subscription covers customer success and advisory. It also covers data migration and implementation support. BELONG adds no extra cost for an additional survey cycle.
The contract sets how the year works. Fees are invoiced in advance on a yearly basis, due net 30 days from the invoice date. Payment obligations are non-cancellable. Fees paid are non-refundable except as specified. On termination, all unpaid fees for the rest of the term become due. No refunds are issued for unused time.
Subscriptions renew by themselves for one year at a time. Either party can stop that with written notice at least 30 days before the term ends. EngageRocket may amend subscription fees at each renewal. It gives written notice at least 30 days before the term ends. Both notices need at least 30 days. So the new fee can arrive on your last day to give notice. Ask for it early. Usage above the licences or seats in the Order Form is invoiced at the Order Form rates. If the Order Form has none, then-current list prices apply. Late payments carry interest of 1.5% of the outstanding balance per month. If a payment is late, EngageRocket may also suspend access.
Other terms are worth reading. Each party’s total liability is capped at the fees paid in the 12 months before the event. EngageRocket may update the terms by publishing a new version. Continued use counts as acceptance. The terms limit use of reports and analytics outputs to internal business use. Customers may not benchmark the Services against a competitor without prior written consent. EngageRocket may use the customer’s name and logo as a reference. Singapore law governs. The Singapore courts have exclusive jurisdiction.
On leaving, the customer keeps ownership of Customer Data. The terms handle Customer Data under the Data Processing Agreement. That covers access, retention and deletion. Customers may request deletion, return or export. Backup copies may be kept for a limited time. They are then overwritten or deleted. EngageRocket may also use de-identified, aggregated Customer Data. It may use it to run, improve and develop the Services, including benchmarking. EngageRocket owns that data after termination.
If you switch to EngageRocket from another vendor, it can take in all historical survey data. Switching customers keep their historical trending.
You could also run survey steps with agents built on your own systems. We have mapped what that looks like. The HR Agent Map
Ten questions for the demo
- Which confidentiality terms apply to us, and which roles are Privileged Administrators? Good answer: A written agreement naming each role that can see answers linked to who gave them.
- What is the smallest group shown, and who can change it? Good answer: A number in our order form, changeable only by named roles.
- Does Flight Risk Prediction point to named employees or to groups? Good answer: A written answer, and the roles that can see it.
- Do Mira and the AI Dashboard Builder count as Beta Features under your terms? Good answer: No, and the uptime promise covers them from day one.
- In which languages do comment themes, sentiment and manager insights work for our staff? Good answer: A written list of languages for each of the three.
- What will set-up cost in total before the first survey, and how long will it take? Good answer: A written figure and a date for the first survey.
- Where will our survey data sit, and which countries can reach it for support? Good answer: A named region for storage and a list of any other countries involved.
- Which benchmark group matches our industry and country, and how many employees are in it? Good answer: A named group with an employee count and an update date.
- When will you send next year’s fee, given the 30-day notice dates? Good answer: Well before our own non-renewal deadline.
- How do our answers and results leave in bulk at the end, and when are backups deleted? Good answer: A file format, a time window and a backup deletion date, in the contract.
Alternatives to EngageRocket, including buying nothing
If BELONG comes off your list, Viva Glint and Workday Peakon each answer one of its stops. Buying nothing is a third route.
Viva Glint answers the benchmark stop with suites by region and country. EngageRocket’s benchmark depth is strongest in Asia-Pacific and the UK. Viva Glint offers benchmark suites by region. The regions are Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America, Middle East, North America and Oceania. It also has suites by country. Country and region suites come out each calendar year. Suites with fewer than 15 of the 21 core items meeting threshold are tagged “Developing”. Microsoft assumes those have greater volatility of scores. Ask Viva Glint which suite covers your country.
Workday Peakon answers the flight-risk stop. BELONG’s flag covers employees. Peakon’s Attrition Prediction heat map shows attrition risk by segment. It is described as protecting individual employee identity. Its method works out attrition risk per employee before averaging by segment. The Administrators access group sees the heat map. Administrators can turn it on for other groups with the Attrition prediction permission.
Buying nothing means you skip terms that limit reports and analytics outputs to internal business use. Customers may not benchmark the Services against a competitor without prior written consent. EngageRocket may use the customer’s name and logo as a reference. Our guide for HR system owners covers surveys that come with an HR system.
