TalentNeuron

TalentNeuron's strategic workforce planning tool suits you if you want a step-by-step method on its own job market data. TalentNeuron publishes no price. The main risk is the contract, which says TalentNeuron owns all data your use of the tool generates. TalentNeuron also bars you from using AI on what its contract calls "Company Data".

Demo it for job market data, but check the contract first

In one line

We would demo it if you want outside job market data inside your plan. Read the data terms before you sign.

Buy it if

You want to see how shifts in roles, skills and automation will affect your plan. You want to compare the cost of hiring with the cost of retraining before you set a budget.

Do not buy it if

You plan to run your own AI tools on its Company Data. You must call a named customer of the planning tool before you sign. The tool's page quotes an unnamed manufacturer.

Price

None published. Fees can rise by up to 5% at each renewal.

It turns business numbers into headcount, cost and skills plans

The tool turns business numbers, such as production volume or store count, into the headcount you need. It then shows the cost of each way to close a gap, such as hiring or retraining. When it spots closely related skills, it proposes retraining as a way to close a gap. You can also test versions of the plan for a restructuring or merger, with skills and headcount together.

The tool combines outside economic data with your own figures on staff who leave or retire. TalentNeuron says it links to HR systems and recruiting systems through data feeds and other automatic links. Check in the demo that it links to the HR system you use.

TalentNeuron gives you a planning method already built, so you follow set steps. A guided walkthrough lets you update job descriptions, duties and skills as the market changes.

It tracks your plan against reality and lets you switch AI off

  • The tool compares your plan's targets with what really happened, by period and for each version of the plan. You see early where the plan and reality part ways.
  • TalentNeuron's AI policy says the tool uses AI in one model only, called Skills Extraction. The policy, updated in February 2026, says you can switch AI on or off. It also says TalentNeuron will not use your data to train AI models. You can keep AI off until you have approved its use.
  • TalentNeuron's consultants can work with your leadership team at the start to shape your approach. That helps if you have not built a workforce plan before. Ask whether that help costs extra.

Check the data terms, and ask for a customer you can call

  • TalentNeuron's terms say it owns all data generated when you use or set up the tool. The ownership clause can limit what you keep when you leave. During the contract, you can export your personal data in a standard format. TalentNeuron deletes your data within 6 months after the contract ends.
  • TalentNeuron's terms bar you from using AI or machine learning to analyse, process or build on its Company Data. The ban also covers any outside firm or person using the service for you. So you cannot feed TalentNeuron's Company Data into your own AI tools or a consultant's.
  • The tool's page quotes an unnamed "Global Automotive Manufacturer" on its results. The customer says the tool helps it find "immense cost savings", with no figure given. You cannot check an unnamed customer's result yourself.
  • TalentNeuron's terms say you should not treat its service as a recommendation to act. TalentNeuron is not liable for any decision you make based on its service or data. You stay responsible for every hiring or retraining choice the plan suggests.

No published price, and the contract renews unless you give notice

TalentNeuron publishes no price, price range or pricing model on its site. Its site offers a demo or a call with an expert instead. You will not know the cost until you talk to sales.

A service order renews for another 12 months unless you give written notice 30 days before it ends. TalentNeuron can raise its fees by up to 5% at each renewal, with 60 days' notice. Set a reminder for the notice date on the day you sign.

You cannot cancel a signed service order, except under the contract's termination terms. Agree the length of the first term before you sign.

You could also build a workforce plan on your own HR and finance systems. We have mapped what that looks like. See it step by step

What to ask TalentNeuron before you sign

  1. Which planning features use AI, and can we switch each one off? Good answer: a written list that matches the February 2026 AI policy.
  2. Does the tool predict or flag anything about a named employee? Good answer: a plain yes or no, shown in the demo.
  3. Who owns the plans we build in the tool? Good answer: we do, in writing in the contract.
  4. Does your ban on AI and machine learning cover the job market data in our plans? Good answer: a written list of what the ban covers.
  5. Can you name a customer of this planning tool that we can call? Good answer: a named company and a contact.
  6. Which HR systems does the tool link to, and can an approved plan go back into ours? Good answer: our HR system by name, with each link shown in the demo.
  7. How many years ahead can a plan run? Good answer: a number of years, shown in the demo.
  8. What will the first year cost, and how long is the first term? Good answer: a written quote with the fee and the term length.

Alternatives to TalentNeuron

Faethm, Visier and Orgvue are the alternatives we would look at next, each for a different reason. The strategic workforce planning guide compares every option in the market.

Faethm uses AI to forecast how new technology will change your roles and the skills they need. It runs its models on your own workforce data. Look at it if automation is the main change you are planning for. Faethm publishes no price.

Visier gives you four ready planning models, but you must buy Visier People Essentials first. Visier's platform can predict, with a score, which named employees are likely to resign. Look at it if you want ready models on your own HR data. Check your legal duties before you use that score.

Orgvue is a workforce planning platform. Your plan on it is built with Orgvue's own consultants or a partner. Orgvue's order forms add 7% a year to the price through the term. Look at it if you want experts to design the plan with you.

Sources and method Everything here about TalentNeuron comes from TalentNeuron's own website: its Strategic Workforce Planning product page, its general product overview page, its legal terms, its data processing agreement and its AI Usage and Governance Policy. What TalentNeuron publishes about its own product is taken as a true description of that product. Every source was read on 26 September 2026, and quotations are word for word. Its product page describes features built on AI; its AI Usage and Governance Policy states a narrower scope for AI in this product. Both are stated here as they read, and the difference is put to TalentNeuron as a question rather than resolved on this page. Facts about Faethm, Visier and Orgvue come from this guide's research on each.
