SeekOut
SeekOut finds people who have not applied and ranks the people who have. It searches more than a billion profiles from public and licensed sources, plus your own applicant tracking system. An AI interviewer called Sam can also screen applicants. Sourcing Core costs $149 a month paid yearly, or $179 billed monthly. The other plans are quoted.
Who SeekOut suits and who should look elsewhere
SeekOut searches public profiles and your own applicant data, then ranks the matches. A recruiter decides who moves forward. Sam, its AI interviewer, belongs to the applicant screening product.
You want to find people who have not applied. You also want the people who did apply ranked against the role. You want a plan you can start on monthly, with a 14-day free trial. Your applicant tracking system is one of the ones it connects to.
You cannot accept fees that cannot be cancelled or refunded. You want Sam to interview people for clinical or patient-facing roles. You want custom service terms without buying the top plan.
Sourcing Core costs $149 a month paid for the year, or $179 billed monthly. Every other plan is quoted. Sam is an add-on on Team and Enterprise plans and comes with the top plan.
It finds people who have not applied and ranks the ones who have
SeekOut sells two products that work together. SeekOut Sourcing was formerly called SeekOut Recruit. It searches more than a billion profiles from public and licensed sources. It also searches your applicant tracking system (ATS), if you have one. You paste in a job description. SeekOut writes the search, the filters and a marking guide of five Yes or No questions. A recruiter edits the questions before the search runs. Each profile scores 0, 50 or 100 points per question, and the score is the average.
The second product is SeekOut Applicant Evaluation and AI Screening. It reads each application as it arrives from your ATS. It scores the applicant against the role and builds a ranked shortlist. By default the review screen shows only applicants who match the qualifications you set. An applicant who misses a required degree or the required years of experience goes into a group called Incomplete Match. A recruiter moves each applicant to the next step, and SeekOut writes that change into your ATS within 15 minutes.
Sam is the AI interviewer inside SeekOut Applicant Evaluation and AI Screening. A recruiter adds three to five open questions. They also add three to five Yes or No questions. These cover hard requirements such as location, pay range and visa sponsorship. The candidate has a 15 to 20 minute voice interview. You can also let candidates ask for a live screen with a recruiter. Candidates can answer in writing instead of by voice. Sam scores five named skills. You get video and a transcript of every answer. Set-up takes about five minutes per job. The scores, transcript and recommendation go back to your ATS. You can also check a government ID through an outside provider. SeekOut stores only the result of the ID check.
SeekOut Sourcing also writes outreach. AI drafts messages for a series of follow-ups, and they go out from your own linked mailbox. An agent called Outreach Expert writes and sends emails. The first message goes 20 minutes after you press start, so you can pause and change it. Each campaign sends up to 1,000 emails a day by default. A person stops getting messages after the last step or after they reply. Contact details come from outside data providers. SeekOut does not scrape them from LinkedIn. Each lookup of an email address or phone number for one person uses one contact credit, a prepaid unit. A lookup that finds nothing costs nothing.
SeekOut connects both ways with Workday, Greenhouse, iCIMS, Lever, Taleo, SuccessFactors and other major ATS platforms. It also integrates with Bullhorn. Applicant Review works with iCIMS Stream, SmartRecruiters and Greenhouse. Rediscovery looks again at past applicants held in your ATS. It works with seven ATS products and scores those people against the new role. SeekOut deletes the ATS data you give it for matching once the match is tried. Set-up with SeekOut’s team typically takes days. A Chrome browser add-on works on public LinkedIn profiles, for paid users only.
A low-cost start, a recruiter who decides and bias audit papers on request
You can start small and try it free
Core has a 14-day free trial and needs no credit card. It needs no annual commitment, no buying process and no set-up fee. Core is made for small businesses and solo recruiters.
A recruiter makes the call on every person
Candidates are never rejected automatically. Recruiters have the final say. The AI never makes an employment decision on its own. Every score arrives with a plain-language reason. Since July 2026, each qualification also shows why a candidate did or did not match.
Bias audit papers and an audit trail are on offer
SeekOut has regular outside bias audits. The latest was in September 2025. Credo AI has carried out one of these audits. An outside party also audits the AI after big changes, and SeekOut gives you that report on request. SeekOut provides the documents you need for your own bias audit. New York City’s law on automated hiring tools, called Local Law 144, is one example. Each evaluation keeps an audit trail built for reviews by US equal employment regulators.
SeekOut does not train its AI on your data
No client data trains the AI models. No applicant data goes to outside AI providers when SeekOut screens applicants. Applicant data you hand over for rediscovery stays separate from other customers. It does not update the public profile database. SeekOut holds a SOC 2 Type 2 report, dated June 2023. That is an independent audit of its security controls. SeekOut complies with two international standards for managing AI, ISO/IEC 42001 and 23894.
Where the data comes from, what it guesses and what outreach needs approval
The profiles come from public sources and outside data providers
SeekOut builds its database from public and licensed information. It licenses that information from outside data providers. SeekOut is a data broker under Texas law. It is also on California’s 2026 data broker register. A removal stops the details showing in SeekOut but not at the original data providers. For people in Europe, SeekOut relies partly on legitimate interest. That basis allows using data without consent unless the person’s rights outweigh it.
It guesses the gender, race and background of candidates
SeekOut infers gender, race, ethnicity and country of origin for candidates where it can. It uses these guesses for optional search filters and for reports on your candidate pipeline. The filters help recruiters find women, Black, Hispanic and Asian candidates and veterans. SeekOut rates the accuracy of these filters at over 90%. Race and ethnicity guesses are not available in the European database. Some privacy laws could treat race and ethnicity guesses as sensitive information. People in the database can opt out of their use. Get legal advice before you use them.
It predicts who is about to leave a job
SeekOut predicts how likely a named person is to move jobs. One search filter flags people it expects to change jobs within 12 months. Get legal advice on how your country’s law treats a prediction about a named person.
Automated outreach needs SeekOut’s approval
SeekOut sells AI-drafted outreach campaigns and an agent called Outreach Expert, which writes and sends emails. Its use policy bans automated dialling, bulk messaging and automated outreach campaigns unless SeekOut approves them. The policy also makes you the only sender of every message. Get the approval in writing before you plan a campaign around these tools.
The AI interviewer is new and not for every role
Sam joined SeekOut’s products in February 2026. Sam is not built for healthcare, clinical or patient-facing roles. Sam works with supported tracking systems, so confirm yours before you commit. Sam compares a CV with the candidate’s answers and gives a consistency rating. Sam does not remove fraud.
The data can be wrong and you cannot use it as a background check
SeekOut does not promise its data is accurate. The use policy bans using SeekOut data as a consumer report under the US Fair Credit Reporting Act. A consumer report comes from a company that gathers information on people for a fee. Employers can use one to decide who gets a job. The policy also bans using the data to discriminate on protected characteristics.
Results SeekOut’s customers have had
A 60-person company grew to 220 in 18 months
Aviatrix grew from 60 to 220 employees in 18 months. It used SeekOut for sourcing.
Trilogy Health Services
Trilogy Health Services found 43 qualified prospects in under an hour.
L3Harris, ExtraHop and UiPath find more candidates
L3Harris found four times as many suitable candidates and booked twice as many phone screens in a typical week. ExtraHop found more than 100 qualified candidates in a week. UiPath found 10 senior and principal engineers who were not on its candidate list.
Textio sorts around 1,000 applicants for a single role
Textio gets around 1,000 applicants for one role. Applicant Review brings the most relevant applicants to the top for Textio.
An executive search firm gets an 80% open rate
Peckman Search Partners is an executive search firm. Its outreach emails show 97% delivery and an 80% open rate.
Core starts at $149 a month and every other plan is quoted
Sourcing Core costs $149 a month when you pay $1,788 for the year up front. Billed monthly it costs $179. Core covers three users, and you cannot add more. Core includes 500 contact lookups a month. The next two plans include 750 per paid user. The top plan is custom. Extra lookups come in packs of 100. Monthly lookups do not roll over, but extra packs never expire. Most plans include 10,000 AI uses per user a month. Scoring one profile or drafting one email uses one.
Other plans are priced on request, billed yearly, with a price per paid user that changes with volume. Applicant Evaluation and AI Screening is an add-on on Team and Enterprise plans. It comes with the top plan, called Full Recruiting Funnel. Sam costs about $2 per completed interview. Single sign-on, which lets staff log in with the company account, is not in Core. Custom service promises are in the top plan only.
The company behind the contract is ZipStorm, Inc. It has more than 750 customers. Unless your order form says otherwise, fees are invoiced in full, a year in advance. Payments cannot be cancelled, fees are not refundable and the quantity you buy cannot go down. A subscription renews for one year unless either side gives 30 days’ notice. Overdue invoices add 1.5% a month. All fees are in US dollars. If something goes wrong, the most SeekOut owes you is what you paid it in the 12 months before. A private judge called an arbitrator decides disputes, not a court. You have 30 days to opt out of arbitration. Washington State law applies. SeekOut may change the service at any time without notice.
Self-serve plans renew automatically. If you cancel, the plan stops at the end of the billing period. SeekOut gives at least 30 days’ notice before a price rise. After the period ends, your projects stay open. Search, insights and contact details stop working. Exporting a candidate uses one export credit, a prepaid unit like the lookups. When the contract ends, each side returns or destroys the other’s confidential information. If SeekOut finds a breach that exposes customer data, it will tell the affected customers within 24 hours.
You could also find and screen people with agents built on your own systems. We have mapped what that looks like. The HR Agent Map
Eight questions to ask SeekOut
- Can we have your latest SOC 2 report, with its date? Good answer: A report newer than June 2023, with the date and the scope written on it.
- Is Sam in our plan, and is the price about $2 per completed interview? Good answer: A price per interview in the order form, with a monthly cap on spend.
- Which of our applicant tracking system’s actions can SeekOut use, and can it reject applicants there? Good answer: A list of permissions in writing, with rejection switched off unless we choose otherwise.
- Can we switch off automatic AI evaluation and the rule that moves candidates between stages? Good answer: Yes, at our account level, with a record of who changed the setting and when.
- Under your use policy, may we run automated outreach campaigns and the Outreach Expert agent? Good answer: Written approval that names campaigns and the agent.
- Can we have the Credo AI bias audit report, with its date, scope and results? If we hire in New York City, can we publish the figures for Local Law 144? Good answer: The full report, with figures we can publish.
- Can we turn off the gender, race and ethnicity guesses for our account? Good answer: Yes, with the filters and the pipeline reports removed from our account.
- What happens to our saved projects, contact details and exports when we leave? Good answer: A stated export format, a time window, and no charge per candidate for our own data.
Alternatives to SeekOut
LinkedIn Recruiter and hireEZ do a similar job. Buying nothing is a third route.
LinkedIn Recruiter searches LinkedIn’s own network of more than a billion members. SeekOut searches public profiles and your ATS. LinkedIn has no single standard price. Recruiter is usually bought per paid user, and the price varies with the size of your organisation. Its AI assistant, Hiring Assistant, is an add-on that LinkedIn is rolling out gradually. On Recruiter Corporate, each Hiring Assistant licence can source 200 to 1,500 candidates a month. It can evaluate 3,500 to 25,000 applicants, depending on the tier. Hiring Assistant does not screen out applicants or make hiring decisions. Recruiters make the final call.
hireEZ searches more than a billion profiles across 45 or more platforms and gives the reason for each name. Its EZ Agent holds a voice or chat screening conversation with every candidate, and you decide who moves forward. Prices for solo recruiters start at $494 a month with a seven-day free trial. Larger plans are quoted, and hireEZ runs a four-week check with your team before you sign. It connects to more than 40 applicant tracking systems.
Buying nothing means working with the tools you already have. If you already have an ATS, ask its vendor which search and ranking tools it includes. Our market guide covers the wider market.
