Talkpush

Talkpush is a hiring system for employers that fill hundreds or thousands of similar jobs. Its AI chats, phones and scores candidates, and rules you switch on can reject people with no recruiter. Many features switch on through the account manager, and Talkpush may change its terms. Prices are quoted for each customer, so get the whole bill in writing.

Talkpush talks to candidates first, and you set how far it decides

In one line

Talkpush is a hiring system for employers that fill many similar jobs. Its AI chats with candidates, phones them and scores the interview. Your rules move people on.

Buy it if

You fill hundreds or thousands of similar roles a year. You want first contact and first scoring done before a recruiter looks. You are ready to decide in writing which steps the software may take alone.

Do not buy it if

You need a list price before a sales call. Your legal team will not accept terms that Talkpush may amend from time to time. You want every setting in your own admin screen, because several features switch on through the account manager.

Talkpush quotes each customer. TalkScore interviews use prepaid credits, and phone, SMS and WhatsApp use is prepaid too. A free TalkScore pilot is typically 50 AI interviews.

How a candidate moves through Talkpush, and where a person steps in

The order of the steps tells you where a person can step in. It also tells you where the software acts alone. So this walk follows one candidate through Talkpush. Talkpush calls itself an AI-powered applicant tracking system and recruitment CRM built for high-volume hiring. A CRM is a database of people you keep in touch with. For many customers Talkpush is the main hiring system. Next to Workday, Oracle or SAP SuccessFactors it acts as the recruitment CRM. It syncs stages, notes and outcomes into that system.

A candidate can start in a chat. The Talkpush chatbot is a text assistant. It pre-screens applicants, answers common questions and gives status updates on Facebook Messenger and WhatsApp. It takes free-text answers and needs no decision trees or forms. A candidate can also apply with a CV. Talkpush then reads the CV to fill in the screening questions. It gives the recruiter a job matching score and a short summary.

The AI can then phone the candidate. Voice-AI is Talkpush’s AI voice interviewer. It calls candidates, collects their answers and writes a report into the candidate profile. It can also ring people already in your database who applied months or years ago. TalkScore runs a live AI interview by phone or web voice. If an answer is vague, the agent asks follow-up questions. It does not score during the call. After the call it scores each skill from 0 to 5 and writes its reasons from the transcript. The report arrives within seconds.

Autoflow is the part that moves people. It is a set of if-this-then-that rules that run on their own. A rule can send a message or move a candidate to another campaign or folder. Talkpush reports that Autoflow acts within 5 minutes of a candidate entering a stage. Each job is usually a campaign. Each campaign has folders for Inbox, Completed, On Hold, Shortlisted, Hired, Rejected and No Response.

Decide who decides before you switch Autoflow on. Talkpush gives two answers on whether the software decides alone. Under its privacy policy, the platform makes no automated decisions. The same policy adds that an employer may enable Smart Filter or Autoflow. These process applicants automatically by criteria the employer sets. In the Voice-AI help article, Voice-AI rejects a candidate who does not meet the criteria. It can also move a candidate forward. The TalkScore help article adds that TalkScore gives structured data to human decision makers and makes no hiring decisions. So the rules are yours, but a rule you switch on can reject a candidate with no recruiter input. Write down which rules may do that and who owns each one.

The scores give a person something to check. A recruiter can override any score in the candidate report. Reviewers can also mark any AI-scored call right or wrong, with a comment. The Enhanced AI Interview Report is a company-wide setting. It is off by default and can be turned off again. When it is on, it adds a verdict label to each interview. Scores from 0 to 2.4 get the label Not Recommended.

After the interview, offers can trigger automatically on rules you set. Candidates can book interview slots from the shared availability of your recruiter team. Contract Hub builds, sends and collects signed contracts inside the CRM. Document Collection uses AI to confirm that an upload matches what was asked for and reads selected fields. It sends anything it is unsure about to a review queue, so a person can decide. A hiring request from a team member can also be routed for approval, and approval creates a live campaign.

Clara is an AI agent built into the CRM. Clara reads your hiring pipeline. Once a user approves, Clara can move or reject an application and assign a manager. Clara can also send SMS, email, WhatsApp or Messenger messages. Every Clara action asks for approval first, and nothing happens until the user agrees. Owners set separate limits for bulk changes and bulk messages. When an action goes above a limit, the user picks another Owner to approve it. Candidates cannot chat with Clara.

Talkpush also offers a connection for outside AI assistants such as Claude, Gemini or ChatGPT. These can query and act on the platform in plain language. The AI inherits each user’s role and cannot act beyond it. Every prompt and response is logged. The connection is bundled with the subscription at no separate fee.

Our guide to applicant tracking systems covers how the rest of this market handles the same decision.

Scores you can inspect, a quick start and links to your HR system

A product that talks to many candidates for you has to be easy to check and quick to start. It also has to fit your HR system and be open with candidates.

You can check a score before a rule acts on it

TalkScore can move top candidates to the next stage automatically. You want to see how a score is made first. Talkpush gives the customer the full scoring guide for every skill. A recruiter can then override any score directly in the candidate report. Its bias monitoring tracks nine types of bias. It raises flags when scoring patterns look suspicious across demographic or linguistic groups. Talkpush marks every bias flag Critical. The scoring guides tell the model to judge behaviour, not communication style. Candidate transcripts are not used to train the underlying language model.

It can start quickly on the channels candidates use

Set-up time decides how soon candidates get an answer. Most customers are up and running in about three weeks. The chatbot can go live in as little as one to two business days. That is after you talk to the Account Manager and give your requirements. Talkpush reports a median time from application to hire of under 24 hours for customers who use full automation.

It can sit beside the HR system you already run

Most employers already run an HR system, so what matters is whether Talkpush passes stages into it. A candidate moved to a folder such as Hired or Rejected in Talkpush gets a new stage in Workday. A new job posted in Workday creates a campaign from the right template. The Oracle HCM link is two-way. The SAP SuccessFactors link updates stages too. Talkpush also connects to DocuSign for onboarding contracts, and to more than 50 other applicant tracking systems. TalkScore integration is available for companies that use another applicant tracking system.

Candidates are told they are talking to an AI

Candidates should know when a machine is talking to them, and you should be able to show that later. Talkpush discloses at the start of the interaction that the candidate is speaking with an AI agent. For video interviews the candidate ticks a consent box before the recording is saved. The chatbot asks for consent before it collects personal data, and candidates can opt out at any time. Every chatbot conversation is logged with timestamps, transcripts and consent records.

It suits employers who fill hundreds or thousands of similar jobs

Talkpush is built for a particular kind of employer, so check whether that is you. It is built for teams filling 500 to 50,000 roles a year. It is sold to employers and staffing firms and is not a job board. Customers include Concentrix, Alorica, TaskUs, Accenture, Genpact, Walmart, McDonald’s Philippines and Aeromexico. The results below are the customers’ own reports, published by Talkpush. The customers share a pattern. Two give yearly hiring numbers in the thousands, and McDonald’s Philippines turned to Talkpush for high-volume hiring. Three use AI calls or WhatsApp, and two link Talkpush into Workday or SuccessFactors. Test your own hiring against that. If you fill far fewer roles than this, ask what an account of your size looks like.

TaskUs Philippines hires 25,000 to 30,000 people a year

TaskUs Philippines hires across 11 sites. Talkpush reports that 61,000 interviews were scheduled by AI without a recruiter placing a call. AI call and chatbot answers go into Workday automatically. After the AI call was redesigned to disclose in the first second and stop at 2 minutes, completion rose 45%.

McDonald’s Philippines reports 35% less time to hire

McDonald’s Philippines has over 700 restaurants and turned to Talkpush for high-volume hiring. It reports a 35% cut in time to hire, supported by automated document collection. Custom automation sorts 98% of incoming traffic automatically.

Pollo Campero cut time to fill from 20 days to 7

Pollo Campero rebuilt its hiring around a WhatsApp-first flow connected to SAP SuccessFactors. It reports time to fill falling from 20 to 7 days.

Pequeño Mundo processed 90,000 applications in under three months

Pequeño Mundo is a Costa Rican retail chain that handles 2,000 to 2,500 hires a year. It reports more than 90,000 applications in under 3 months, 408k WhatsApp messages sent monthly and 95% of communication automated.

Ocado replaced its old applicant tracking system

Ocado’s Head of People calls Talkpush a plug-and-play solution that replaced the old applicant tracking system. Ocado reports that its previous system relied on manual processes and an expensive recruitment platform. That system gave low lead volumes and poor application completion rates.

Set-up runs through an account manager and the terms can change

Some limits sit in set-up and the contract, and some in the newer AI features. Each one is easier to settle before you sign than after. Talkpush was founded in 2014 and is headquartered in Hong Kong. Its agreement runs under Hong Kong law, with the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Hong Kong courts. Your legal team will want to know this before reading the cards below.

Many features switch on only through the account manager

A feature you rely on may not be ready on day one. The Requisition Management System starts with a request to your account manager or product support. So do the mobile app, Contract Hub, Face Verification, company login and the employee referral programme. The Conversational Bot must be turned on for your company by the Account Operations Manager before you can publish it. The Teams Tab, which builds custom AI agents, is not on by default. So a feature you see in a demo may not be switched on for you yet.

Talkpush may change the agreement from time to time

A contract that can change is harder to plan around. Talkpush may amend, modify or update the agreement from time to time. Where a regulatory, insurance, safety or statutory change requires it, Talkpush gives 30 days’ notice. You then have the right to terminate within 14 days of receiving that notice. Talkpush may also suspend the service or support if you do not pay your fees by the due date. For any other change, ask what notice you get.

The terms cover your logo and your call recordings

Your legal team should read these terms before you sign, because they reach your brand and your call recordings. You grant Talkpush the right to refer to you as a client. You also grant the right to use your brand and logo in promotional material during or after the services. You also permit Talkpush to access your account and to analyse data or call recordings for debugging or support. Talkpush must keep call detail records for a period it considers appropriate.

The service promise carries no uptime figure

A hiring tool that candidates use day and night needs an uptime promise in writing. Talkpush will use commercially reasonable endeavours to provide 24/7 access to its online reporting. The terms give no uptime percentage. The AI-assistant connection has a 99.9% uptime target and a limit of 60 requests per minute per company. Ask whether that target covers the whole service.

Face Verification is not an identity document check

A match badge can look like proof of identity, so know what it checks. Face Verification compares the face in an AI call video with a reference the candidate submitted earlier. It then gives a match, review or no-match badge. It is not a government identity document check. Voiceprints count as biometric data in several jurisdictions. For the EU, the UK or similar regions, Talkpush advises talking to your account manager before you enable Voice Verification.

Some of the AI is new, and short-interview scores are directional

Some features are still new, so ask what each one is ready for today. Clara is rolling out company by company during a beta. For the Short Interview format, Talkpush advises treating scores as directional and not as a final decision tool. Reading Detection flags voice answers that appear to be read aloud. It works from pacing, pauses and rhythm, so a person should check a flag before acting on it.

The number of languages depends on which feature you mean

A language count on a web page does not tell you what works in your country. The chatbot supports over 50 languages. The Conversational AI page gives 40 or more. Voice-AI supports 28 languages and 64 voices and accents. TalkScore Live AI Interviews are available in 50 or more. The ATS page counts 100 or more among its features. Ask for the exact list per feature for the countries where you hire.

Talkpush is the data controller for applicant data

Who controls candidate data decides who answers to candidates and regulators. Under its privacy policy, Talkpush is the Data Controller for applicant personal data on the platform. It may share applicant information with companies and people it employs to perform tasks on its behalf. Talkpush is GDPR and SOC 2 aligned, and candidate data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Ask your legal team how this fits your own duties as the employer.

Prices are quoted for each customer and phone use is prepaid

Knowing the shape of the bill before a sales call helps you ask for the right quotes. Pricing is modular and quoted for each customer. Talkpush prices calendar sync and self scheduling by quote.

Talkpush’s own pages differ on what costs extra. Its ATS page calls the AI chatbot, Voice AI and TalkScore native with zero add-ons. Its TalkScore page adds that integration with the Talkpush ATS gives full functionality at no additional cost. Its help articles price TalkScore and Voice-AI by use. A TalkScore credit is $1 at standard pricing, and credits are bought in advance. The Standard Interview is the format most clients use. It costs 4 credits for 15 minutes, which is $4. The phone format costs a flat 1 credit per call. A Voice-AI help article gives a future price of $0.25 per minute, with discounts for high volume. Volume discount tiers are negotiated with the account manager.

Phone, SMS and WhatsApp use is prepaid and must be bought before use. SMS carries an extra long code fee of $100 per year. Voice carries one of $50 per year. Excess SMS units cannot be carried over when the contract renews. Talkpush’s rate table prices WhatsApp calls and text at cost plus an 8% surcharge. A separate help article puts WhatsApp calls at a flat $0.02 per minute. It rounds up to the nearest minute and bills from a wallet shared with live calls. The WhatsApp Business Platform charges per message, so the account needs a payment method. Ask which of these rates applies to you.

A free TalkScore pilot is typically 50 AI interviews at no cost. Voice-AI has a trial of 100 free calls to candidates. Under Talkpush’s terms you are invoiced in advance for services. Invoices are payable within fourteen days of the invoice date.

Leaving is a separate question. Export Candidates runs once or on a daily, weekly or monthly schedule. With All Columns on, an export includes every field. That covers documents, attachments and custom data. Talkpush recommends exporting leads before you archive or soft-delete them. Soft-deleted means marked as deleted. Leads that stay soft-deleted for two years are permanently removed from the database. That automatic deletion took effect on 21 October 2024. Candidates who unsubscribe are deleted permanently at once. There is no historical data migration from the legacy e-signature app to Contract Hub. Run a test export before you sign.

You could also run hiring steps with agents built on your own systems. We have mapped what that looks like. The HR Agent Map

Eight questions for the demo

A demo presents the product at its best, so get these answers in writing before you sign. Each question comes with the answer you want to hear.

  1. Which AI features are inside our subscription and which are billed by use? Good answer: One written list that gives each feature a price unit and settles the zero add-ons claim.
  2. Which Autoflow rules can reject a candidate with no person looking, and who owns each one? Good answer: A named owner for every rule and a log of each rejection.
  3. Which features need the Account Manager to switch them on, and how long does each take? Good answer: A dated list agreed before we sign.
  4. Will you put an uptime figure and a notice period for every contract change into our agreement? Good answer: A written uptime percentage and notice for all changes, not only regulatory ones.
  5. Can we limit the use of our logo and the analysis of our call recordings? Good answer: Yes, in the order form, with recordings used only to fix faults for us.
  6. Which languages does each feature support in the countries where we hire? Good answer: A named list per feature, tested with our own candidates.
  7. Where is our candidates’ data stored, and who is the data controller in our country? Good answer: A named country for storage and a written split of duties between us.
  8. How do we export everything, documents and recordings included, and can we test it before we sign? Good answer: A test export from a live campaign with all columns and documents.

Alternatives to Talkpush

Four products are worth a look before you settle on Talkpush. They are Fountain, Paradox, Workday Recruiting and Oracle Recruiting.

The way each product interviews a candidate is one place to compare them. Talkpush runs a live AI interview by phone or web voice and scores it after the call. Fountain’s Anna interviews by phone or browser and returns a score, transcript, recording and summary. In a Paradox recorded interview the candidate answers one question at a time by video and can re-record. Ask each vendor to show an interview in the format your candidates would use.

If you already run Workday or Oracle, ask first whether its own recruiting tool is enough. If it is not, Talkpush sits beside either one as the recruitment CRM and sends stage changes into it.

You can also buy only the interviewing part. TalkScore integration is available for companies that use other applicant tracking systems. Buying nothing is the last option. Talkpush is built for teams filling 500 to 50,000 roles a year. A team far below that may not need it.

Sources and method Everything here about Talkpush comes from Talkpush’s own website, help articles, terms and privacy policy. The Fountain and Paradox lines come from their own sites. What Talkpush publishes about its own product is taken as a true description of that product. Every source was read on 2 November 2026. Where two Talkpush pages differ, this page gives both figures.
