Talos Perform, formerly Appraisd, runs reviews and an AI Notetaker. Its price depends on which page you read.

Talos Perform is the new name for Appraisd. Talos360 bought Appraisd in April 2025 and launched Talos Perform on 29 April 2026. It runs review rounds, check-ins and goals. Its price pages give different figures, so get one written quote.

Should you buy Talos Perform, formerly Appraisd?

In one line

Talos Perform runs review rounds, check-ins, goals and 360 feedback. Appraisd is its former name. An optional AI Notetaker records review conversations and writes notes from them.

Buy it if

You want a dedicated customer success manager from day one. You want data held in the UK or the EU. You are ready to sign a two-year term.

Do not buy it if

You want one price list you can rely on. Its price pages give different figures. You want to leave after one year. The minimum term is two years, and ending early makes all outstanding amounts payable.

Price

On Talos Perform’s pricing page, the price starts at £95 per employee. The minimum is £4,750 a year for up to 50 employees. appraisd.com puts the first 50 employees at £3,600 a year. Get one written quote.

What Talos Perform does in a review round

Talos Perform runs reviews in stages. A three-stage review has a self-assessment stage and a manager review stage. A four-stage review adds a sign-off stage. A check-in uses a shorter two-stage flow.

Reviews can be annual, probation, career planning or talent profiling reviews. Each one is built on a custom template. A new review can start by itself when an earlier one closes. Review rounds always run for 12 months. A round can follow each person’s start date, which suits probation reviews and reviews one year after joining. Appraisd asks customers to contact its team to set up a review round.

Answers to questions and objectives can carry a rating. A form can work out an average score, with a separate average for each group that gave ratings. Any question type can be limited to the employee or to the manager. Reviews can also run without the employee seeing them.

Calibration is a meeting where leaders compare manager ratings and adjust them so scores are consistent across the company. In Talos Perform, managers submit suggested ratings. Department heads or HR review, adjust and approve the calibrated scores. A drag and drop screen changes them. Four sources place calibration differently. See the price section.

The nine-box grid places each person by performance and potential. Talos Perform fills the grid from manager ratings, ready for calibration talks.

Objectives and goals come with templates and link to company goals. Employees can keep personal development plans and send praise to a public recognition wall. 360 feedback means feedback from several people who work with the employee. It can sit inside a year-end review or run as a separate process. Career conversations, compensation reviews and coaching plans are also part of the product.

The AI Notetaker records a review or check-in conversation and transcribes it. It writes notes for each question. The manager clicks Start Notetaking when the meeting begins. One click copies the notes into the manager’s answer. The AI notes cannot be edited, but the copied text can. Recording is optional for each review. If an employee is uncomfortable, the review runs without it. The Notetaker may cost extra. See the price section.

Employees get the same access to recordings and notes as the manager. They see the privacy information before recording starts. The Notetaker also accepts uploaded audio, video or transcript files of up to 100 MB. Recording online calls is not available on mobile.

Tali is Talos360’s AI assistant. In Talos Perform it suggests talking points for review conversations. It also suggests objectives, learning activities and progression paths. It collects feedback from 1:1s and check-ins, ready for annual reviews. It structures and summarises peer feedback. It helps with review invitations, reminders and feedback requests. Tali supports human judgement, and every decision stays in human hands. More advanced AI can be added as an add-on. See the price section.

Basic user set-up from over 25 HR systems is free for all clients. They include BambooHR, Workday, Personio, SAP SuccessFactors, UKG Pro, Hibob and Sage HR. New employees and changes in the HR system are added or changed in Talos Perform. The free basic package syncs users weekly. An advanced package costs extra.

Staff can sign in with the company’s own login, known as single sign-on. Talos Perform works with any login provider that supports SAML 2.0, a common standard for company logins. The API, which lets other software connect, is available to all customers at no extra fee. Slack and Microsoft Teams apps bring reviews and feedback into those tools.

What Talos Perform does well

Set-up help comes with the licence

Every customer gets a dedicated customer success manager from day one. Under G-Cloud, start-up services are included in the fees. They include up to three review forms and the single sign-on set-up. Appraisd puts set-up at a few days. Ansell Lighting went live in under 15 working days from signing.

You choose where data is held

Talos Perform runs on Microsoft Azure in the UK South and EU regions. Under G-Cloud, the storage and processing locations are the UK and the European Economic Area. Customers control those locations. Alternative Azure regions or a private cloud are available. Appraisd records ISO 27001:2017 certification, an international security standard, in a security policy dated 5 March 2021.

The AI Notetaker is optional and checked by a person

The AI Notetaker is optional for each review. Some organisations limit it to chosen employees. A person reviews and edits AI output before use. Appraisd does not use customer data to train the Notetaker’s models. Transcripts and prompts go to Microsoft’s Azure OpenAI service. It processes them in the UK and the EU. No custom models are trained.

Recordings stay with the people in the conversation

By default only the people named on the review can open a recording. HR cannot open it unless named as a reviewer. HR is told only that a conversation took place. Recordings and notes sit inside Appraisd’s own systems.

HR can filter talent data by diversity

HR can filter aggregated talent data by diversity groups. With HR data linked in Power BI, customers can break results down by gender, ethnicity and age.

Which companies use Appraisd

Talos360 aims its G-Cloud offer at organisations of 200 to 5,000 or more employees. Talos360 offers demos to organisations of 50 to 5,000 or more employees. Appraisd sets its Standard plan at 51 to 1,000 employees. Above that, it offers flexible pricing.

Fabweld Steel Products moved a shop-floor workforce to quarterly check-ins

Fabweld Steel Products employs around 65 people, two-thirds of them on the shop floor. It moved from yearly reviews to quarterly check-ins. The move was a success.

Chime Housing finished all its end-of-year reviews

Chime Housing has 51 to 200 employees. In 2021 it completed 100% of end-of-year reviews and 99% of mid-year reviews.

Most Clarity Travel managers found reviews easy to complete

Clarity Travel has 201 to 500 employees. 90% of its employees reported greater visibility of their reviews. 92% of its managers found it easy to complete comments and scoring.

Aster Group, with 1,001 to 5,000 employees, runs check-ins in Appraisd

At Aster Group 88% of employees use Appraisd for check-ins. 70% use it to track work objectives and 50% to track personal objectives.

Talos360’s own HR lead runs HR alone

Talos360’s HR lead calls themself a one-person HR team in a 100-person business. The customer success manager set up the sync with the HR system. Joiners, leavers and promotions are then picked up.

Where Talos Perform stops, and what the contract locks in

Talos360 completed its purchase of Appraisd in April 2025, with support from LDC. Talos360 launched Talos Perform on 29 April 2026. Contracts signed on or after 1 March 2026 use the current Talos360 terms. Earlier contracts keep the legacy Appraisd terms.

A two-year term that renews for another full term

Talos360 sets a two-year minimum contract. Under the current terms, it asks for 90 days’ written notice before the initial term ends. Without that notice the contract renews for a period as long as the initial term. Ending early makes all outstanding amounts immediately payable. appraisd.com’s pricing FAQ puts the cancellation deadline at 30 days before the renewal date.

Uptime has a target in the terms and a guarantee in the G-Cloud listing

The SaaS terms require Talos360 to use reasonable endeavours to reach 99.5% availability each month. The G-Cloud listing guarantees monthly availability of over 99.5%. The client may ask for a single discount if availability falls below 99.5% in a month. It equals 5% of the monthly licence fee and comes off later charges. It is not a refund, and it expires after 12 months.

Website descriptions are not part of the contract, and liability is capped

Under clause 1.4 of the SaaS terms, descriptions and advertising on the Talos360 website are not part of the contract. Put any feature you are buying in the order form. Each side’s total liability is capped at the charges for the previous 12 months. The cap for a breach of data protection law is two times those charges. Changing the set-up after system sign-off costs services time and money.

How long recordings stay depends on the page you read

In Appraisd’s help centre, recordings are kept until someone deletes them manually. The AI notes remain after a recording is deleted. Employees can delete recordings they created, but not recordings they did not create. On its Notetaker page, Appraisd offers retention options you can set.

The vendor may end the HR-system link on 90 days’ notice

Appraisd may end your right to use the HR-system link on 90 days’ written notice. The API continues. The free basic sync runs weekly. The advanced package costs extra. Customers ask their customer success manager for details.

Leaving under the current terms and the G-Cloud listing

Under the current terms, Talos360 sends the client’s Talent Pool information as a CSV file within 14 days of termination. It then permanently deletes all records tied to that Talent Pool. Under the G-Cloud listing, the customer success manager prepares a zip of CSV files for another tool, free of charge. A custom format costs extra. Every table in Appraisd can also be exported to Excel or CSV.

Leaving under the data processing agreement

Appraisd handles personal data under a data processing agreement. Ask in writing within 30 days of the end of the services. Appraisd then deletes or returns the personal data, at your choice. Backups take 35 days to clear. Deleting one person’s data also removes their comments from other people’s reviews.

Other languages cost extra, and right-to-left languages are not supported

Right-to-left languages, such as Arabic and Hebrew, are not supported. Other languages carry a fee, covered under price. WCAG 2.1 AA, a web accessibility standard, is coming soon on Appraisd’s enterprise page.

What Talos Perform costs, and why its price pages disagree

Talos Perform’s prices appear in four places, and they differ. Its pricing page, appraisd.com, the UK government’s G-Cloud documents and Appraisd’s help centre each carry prices. G-Cloud is the UK government’s framework for buying cloud services, and Talos360 holds a place on G-Cloud 15.

The fee is £3,600 plus 50 employees at £6 a month for 12 months. That is £7,200 a year. Above 1,000 employees, Appraisd offers flexible pricing for enterprise customers.

Appraisd also sells on-site training, historical data import, multiple languages, advanced HR-system sync and embedded Power BI as extras. Ask for each price in writing.

Four sources place calibration differently. Appraisd’s help centre price list charges 5% extra. Talos Perform’s pricing page puts rating calibration under optional extras. The same page also counts ratings and calibration among the included features. appraisd.com’s pricing page puts calibrations under always included. The SaaS terms count calibration sessions as core performance management. Get one answer in writing.

Four sources place the AI Notetaker differently. G-Cloud prices it at 20% extra. Talos Perform’s pricing page and the SaaS terms call it optional. Under the terms, anything optional must be named separately on the order form. Talos Perform’s performance reviews page puts it in the annual review software. Talos360’s AI page puts 24/7 AI support and generative AI writing tools in the standard package. More advanced AI can be added as an add-on.

After the initial term, the current terms let the licence fee rise by no more than 5% on each anniversary. Under the legacy Appraisd terms, a rise is capped at the change in the retail price index. That applies once per renewal period, with 30 days’ written notice.

You could also run review steps with agents built on your own systems. We have mapped what that looks like. The HR Agent Map

What to ask Talos360 before you sign

  1. Which price list is in our quote, and which of the four sources do you stand behind? Good answer: One written fee schedule that prices the licence, the Notetaker, calibration and every extra.
  2. Is the AI Notetaker in our licence, or is it an extra 20%? Is calibration included? Good answer: A yes or a no for each, written in the order form.
  3. Do we have to sign two years, or can we start on twelve months? Under the legacy Appraisd terms, a contract renews for 12 months. Good answer: The term and the last day to give notice, both written in the order form.
  4. Will you put an uptime guarantee and a fee discount for missed targets in our order form, not reasonable endeavours? Good answer: A fixed availability figure with the discount stated.
  5. How long does our account keep recordings, and who can delete them? Good answer: A retention period we choose, and a named person who can delete.
  6. Does the exit clause cover reviews, ratings and check-ins, not only Talent Pool information? Good answer: Yes, with a named file format and a delivery date.
  7. Which package are we buying? The Basic Appraisd package leaves out 360 feedback, calculated scores, automated review cycles, the API and a dedicated account manager. Good answer: A package name that includes each of those five.
  8. Which of our HR systems link to Talos Perform, and what does the advanced sync cost? Good answer: A named system, a sync schedule and a fixed price.
  9. Which Azure region holds our data? An older GDPR page puts all data in the UK. Good answer: A named region in the order form, with a change only by agreement.
  10. What rate applies to changes after sign-off? Good answer: A rate card in the order form.
