Mesh
Mesh Reviews & 360s runs review rounds and 360 feedback. Goals come with every plan and 1:1s come from Growth up. Plans cost $4 to $12 a person a month. Every plan carries a $6,000 minimum for the year. Mesh marks two of its AI tools “Coming soon” in its menu. Netchex also sells a separate product named Mesh.
At least $6,000 a year, with some AI tools marked “Coming soon”
Mesh runs review rounds and 360 feedback. It adds AI help for writing reviews and coaching managers.
You want prices on the website. You want each team to run its own style of review inside one round.
You may want to leave before the first year ends. You need Maven or the AI Coaching Copilot on day one, and Mesh marks both “Coming soon” in its menu. You object to Mesh owning data from yours that can no longer be traced to you.
Foundations costs $4 a person a month. Growth costs $8 and Excellence costs $12. Every plan carries a $6,000 minimum for the year.
Mesh runs the review round and the meetings around it
Mesh is performance management software built around AI. Its Reviews & 360s product runs your own review rounds. A 360 collects feedback from several people who work with the employee. Mesh lets you build a different review style for each function inside one round. Four kinds of reviewer take part. They are the employee, the manager, peers, and team members writing about their manager. Cross-functional and dotted-line managers form a further kind, nominated like peers. Peers join once they agree. Feedback about a manager is anonymous.
Your admin can use review templates so every reviewee is evaluated the same way. Each question sits in a category. The categories are Generic, Goals, Competencies or sections you create. Competencies means the skills expected in a role. Your admin sets how scores are reported at the end of a round, or whether they are reported. They also set the criteria and the weight of each. At the deadline, an admin can submit unfinished reviews automatically. Managers and admins can remind reviewers, re-open forms and force a form to submit.
Admins then share results with managers, and managers share them with employees. Employees view and acknowledge their results on a page called My Reviews. Only people with a finished self review and manager review appear in the sharing list. The weights of all goals in a person’s performance overview must add up to 100%.
The AI works inside the review. It coaches a writer to give structured feedback and rephrases what they write. It summarises feedback across reviewers and supports the rating review meeting. Data from check-ins, 1:1s and feedback appears inside the review form. After the review, AI-powered plans give managers coaching on what to do next. Mesh Recommends uses prompts to suggest the next step to employees. It also prompts feedback after events such as a finished goal or a work anniversary.
Reviews sit beside other parts of Mesh. They are Goals and OKRs, 1:1 meetings, Praise & Advice and Development Plans. OKRs are objectives and key results. Mesh also has an Engagement area with surveys and short pulse surveys. Your plan decides which parts you get.
Mesh connects to your main HR system through Finch, an outside service that links products to HR systems. Updates in the HR system reach Mesh once a week. Outlook Calendar links to Mesh in both directions. For how the rest of the market compares, read our guide to performance management software.
The results Mesh reports, and what to ask about each
Mesh reports six results. Each comes with a question to put to Mesh before you rely on it.
A 42% drop in grievance reports
Mesh reports about a 42% drop in grievance reports on final feedback reports. This covers teams that run review or feedback rounds on Mesh. Ask what Mesh compared them with, and over what period.
A 20% gain in target achievement
Mesh reports a 20% rise in target achievement among people who complete the routines Mesh Recommends. The comparison group is people who do not complete them. Those two groups may differ in other ways, so ask how Mesh measured it.
Dana saved 60% of the time per review form
Dana used Mesh’s AI rephrasing and analysis in its performance reviews. Mesh also reports a 215% gain in feedback quality at Dana and savings of up to $5,000 per manager. Ask how Dana scored feedback quality.
Groww’s high performers rose from 5% to 15%
Mesh reports that high-performer density at Groww rose from 5% to 15%. Ask how Groww defines a high performer, and how many people the figure covers.
CleverTap saved $740K a year
Mesh reports that CleverTap saved $740K a year and saw an 18% rise in top performers. It also reports about a 50-fold improvement from the first to the third quarter. That covers performance conversations and check-ins on objectives and key results. Ask what the 50-fold figure counts, and what number it started from.
24% saw a faster set-up
Mesh reports that 24% experienced faster set-up than with other performance management products. Ask who those 24% are, and what they compared Mesh with.
Where Mesh is strong
The price is on the website
Mesh publishes three plans with a price per person. It charges nothing extra for onboarding support, integrations or training. Every plan includes a dedicated customer success manager, training workshops for admins and users, and support by email and chat.
The rating review meeting comes with the lowest plan
HR teams call this meeting calibration. Foundations at $4 includes Calibrations. Mesh also offers AI-driven calibration analysis. It looks for high ratings with nothing to back them up, and for peer and manager reviews that disagree. Ask which plan includes that analysis.
It reaches people in Slack and Microsoft Teams
Mesh pushes updates to Slack, and employees can take key actions there. In Microsoft Teams, people act from the mobile app, the desktop app or the browser app. Staff hear about a live survey in Slack, Teams or email.
Mesh is best suited to organisations of 75 or more people
Plans start at $4 at any size
Mesh is best suited to organisations with 75 or more employees. Plans start at $4 a person a month, whatever your headcount. Mesh is working on a lightweight self-serve option for smaller start-ups and small businesses.
Companies whose HR system Mesh connects to
Mesh links to your main HR system. It connects to systems including BambooHR, Namely, Rippling, UKG Pro, Paychex, Paylocity, SAP SuccessFactors, TriNet and Personio. If yours is missing, ask Mesh’s Customer Success Team to add it.
Managers who hold regular 1:1s
Mesh’s 1:1s come with Growth and Excellence. Its AI assistant joins virtual 1:1s. It writes the transcript, records action items and updates the notes. It also suggests topics for the next meeting from earlier agenda points. Staff can switch on the Mesh Transcribe Bot for a 1:1 to get a written transcript.
You commit for a year, and Mesh owns data that can no longer be traced to you
Two AI tools are marked “Coming soon”
Mesh marks Mesh Maven and the AI Coaching Copilot “Coming soon” in its menu. Mesh ends the Maven section of its AI Edge page with a call to join a waitlist. Mesh presents its platform as powered by Maven on its home page. On its pricing card, Mesh marks Maven Recommends and Maven Coach Yes on Growth and No on Foundations. In its privacy policy of 11 August 2025, Mesh marks its work on AI models “Coming Soon”. Ask which AI tools work today on the plan you would buy.
A one-year commitment with no early exit for convenience
Every subscription is annual, paid up front. Neither side may end it early for convenience. If you end it early, you get no refund. The fees for the rest of the term fall due at once. Your subscription renews automatically unless a party gives written notice 30 days before the term ends.
Mesh sets two different renewal lengths
In one clause, Mesh renews your subscription for a period equal to the current term. If no term is set, it renews for twelve months. In another clause, Mesh renews it for the expiring term or one year, whichever is shorter. Ask which clause applies to your order form. After the first term, Mesh may raise fees on 60 days’ written notice.
Mesh owns data from yours that can no longer be traced to you
You allow Mesh to process your data only as you instruct and as needed to provide the service. You assign to Mesh all right, title and interest in “Resultant Data”. That is data derived from yours that differs enough that your data cannot be rebuilt or identified from it. When the contract ends, Mesh must erase your data from systems it controls, except Resultant Data. It may keep copies in backups and archives until they are deleted in the ordinary course.
What Mesh owes you if something goes wrong is limited
Each side’s liability is capped at the amounts paid in the 12 months before the event behind the claim. The cap does not apply to indemnity duties, gross negligence, wilful misconduct or fraud. Mesh covers your losses from a third-party claim that arises from unauthorised disclosure of your data. Apart from the warranties it spells out, the service comes “as is”. Mesh has no obligation or liability for loss or recovery of your data. You are solely responsible for results and for decisions based on the service.
Late payment, subcontractors and where disputes go
Fees fall due 30 days after the invoice. A subscription becomes active only when Mesh receives payment. Mesh may charge interest of 1.5% a month on late payments. The rate drops to the highest one the law allows if that is lower. Mesh may use subcontractors after it notifies you. Netchex Holdings Company, Inc. may assign its rights and duties to a third party without your consent. California law governs. Legal action goes to the US federal courts or the courts of California in San Francisco.
Mesh may collect sensitive personal details
Mesh may collect date of birth, passport details, bonus and pay information and social security number. It may collect them while people use the service. Mesh holds security certifications. It has displayed entries in its trust centre for GDPR, which is the EU data protection law. It has also displayed ISO/IEC 27001, an international security standard. It has displayed SOC 2 Type 2 too, an independent audit of security controls. Ask for the current reports.
Mesh gives two counts of HR systems
In one help article, Mesh puts Finch’s reach at over 100 HR systems. Finch is the outside service that links Mesh to HR systems. On its Mesh-vs-HRIS page, Mesh puts its own links at 200+ HR systems. Ask for your own system by name.
Some work needs a desktop
Mesh offers the mobile browser and the Microsoft Teams app on a phone. Reviewers can fill in review forms there. Team-wide and company-wide tasks still need the full desktop version. The AI-generated managers’ summary in a review is not available on mobile.
Plans run $4 to $12 a person a month, with a $6,000 floor
Foundations costs $4 a person a month. It covers Goals and OKRs, Reviews & 360 and Calibrations. Growth costs $8 and adds Praise & Advice and 1:1s. Excellence costs $12 and adds Development Plans. It also includes insight reports, dashboards and Data Download. To use one feature from a higher plan, you buy that whole plan.
Every plan carries a $6,000 minimum for the year. At $4 a person, you reach that minimum at 125 people. At $8 you reach it at about 63 people. At $12 you reach it at about 42. At list prices, 250 people cost $12,000 a year on Foundations, $24,000 on Growth and $36,000 on Excellence. For 500 people, the same plans cost $24,000, $48,000 and $72,000. Mesh offers volume packages for companies planning to use it for over 100 people.
Every plan includes a link to your main HR system and a sign-in with your company’s own login. You pay by bank transfer or card.
A person can download specific data from their past reviews. Mesh may include data extraction and data feeds as services in an order form. Put your export needs in the order form before you sign.
You could also run review steps with agents built on your own systems. We have mapped what that looks like. The HR Agent Map
What to put to Mesh before you sign
- Which AI tools work today on the plan we would buy, including Maven and the AI Coaching Copilot? Good answer. A written list, with a date for anything still coming.
- Who counts as a person in the monthly price, and do volume packages lower it? Good answer. A written definition and a price per person for our headcount.
- Which renewal clause applies to our order form, and how long is each renewal? Good answer. One clause, named in the order form, with the renewal length written out.
- How will you give notice of a price rise, and what can we do before renewal? Good answer. Written notice at least 60 days ahead, and the right to leave at renewal.
- What does Resultant Data contain, and will you narrow your rights in it? Good answer. A written description of its contents and a limit on its use.
- Does your HR system connection cover our system by name, and can updates arrive more often than weekly? Good answer. Yes, by name, with the update schedule written down.
- What do the 42% fall in grievance reports and the 20% gain in target achievement measure? Good answer. A starting point, a time period and the number of customers behind each figure.
- Which security audit reports can you give us today? Good answer. Current reports, dated within the last year.
- How do we get all our review data out when the contract ends? Good answer. A named file format and a date, in the order form.
- Which personal details, such as passport or social security numbers, do you collect in our set-up? Good answer. Only the fields we choose, each with a stated reason.
Alternatives to Mesh
If Mesh leaves your shortlist, look at Peoplebox, Teamflect, BambooHR and PerformYard, or keep what you have.
Peoplebox prices performance management at $8 a person a month, billed yearly. A 360 adds $8. Individual development plans add $3, engagement adds $2 and compensation adds $5. Mesh’s $4 plan already includes Reviews & 360. The two prices cover different features, so price the same features on both. Peoplebox puts its sweet spot at 100 to 1,000 employees. Its contracts renew for one-year terms. Fees are non-cancellable and non-refundable.
Teamflect is native to Microsoft Teams and Outlook. Essential costs $7 a user a month billed yearly, and Professional costs $11. Starter is free for up to 10 employees. Companies that run on Google Workspace or Slack first get no benefit from Teamflect’s native link. Mesh works in both Slack and Teams.
BambooHR is an HR system for small and mid-sized businesses with performance management inside it. Its Pro plan includes 360 review cycles and 1:1s. Pro costs $17 a person a month on its pricing card and $17.50 in its pricing FAQ. Ask which price applies to your contract. Mesh connects to BambooHR, so the two can also run side by side.
PerformYard is a performance management platform with AI. It publishes a range of $5 to $15 a person a month. Its Performance plan covers reviews, meetings, goals, engagement, feedback and surveys.
Buying nothing is the last route. Weigh the $6,000 minimum against the cost of running the round without a tool.
