Juno Journey

Juno Journey is an LMS combined with an LXP. Its AI drafts courses, assigns learning and suggests goals. Some of its work waits for your approval, and some does not. Juno Training costs $8 per user per month on a yearly plan. Fees are non-refundable, and the agreement renews unless you give 60 days’ written notice.

In one line

A learning system for required training, records and career development, with AI built in.

Buy it if

You want one product for compliance training, records and development. You want AI to draft courses while a person approves the result. Your HR system is HiBob, BambooHR, Google Workspace, Oracle HCM or SAP SuccessFactors, or you can send a CSV file.

Do not buy it if

You need a separate mobile app. You need a claim of full WCAG 2.1 AA conformance today. You want to set up the HR system link yourself. Your lawyers will not accept outside AI companies processing what staff share with the AI features.

Juno drafts courses with AI, and some of it waits for a person

Juno Journey is an LMS combined with an LXP. That is a learning management system plus a learning experience platform. Juno Training is the LMS. Juno Growth is the development side. Talent Development adds career paths and competency frameworks to Growth.

It plays the course files you may already own. Juno plays SCORM 1.2 and SCORM 2004 files in its own player and keeps one record for each attempt. It also loads cmi5 and Tin Can files. It runs LTI 1.3, a standard for opening one learning tool inside another. SCORM packages upload one by one, so a large library takes time to move. If you move from Cornerstone OnDemand, an integration migrates training content and learner transcripts into Juno.

Juno’s Compliance Training Catalog offers security, privacy, conduct and ethics courses. Juno Studio keeps them current. Juno Studio also builds custom courses. It scopes, estimates and prices each request before work starts.

Juno reads people data from HiBob, BambooHR, Google Workspace, Oracle HCM and SAP SuccessFactors. Custom connectors are also available. Staff can sign in with their work account from Okta, Microsoft Entra or Google. A REST API gives programmatic access to your organisation’s data.

Some AI work waits for a person, and some does not. Jaden is the AI in the course editor. You describe a course or attach files, and Jaden writes it. Nothing from Jaden is saved until you keep or discard its changes. Drafts stay invisible to learners until published. Jaden works on courses. It is not available for quizzes, surveys or Journeys. The Juno assistant can assign learning, send notifications and create automations. Each sits behind an approval card, and automations start paused. Anything the six built-in AI assistants need decided goes to a named person.

Two places have less human checking. A course’s validation mode can be Manual, AI suggests with validators approving, or AI validates. Under AI validates, responses are validated automatically. The AI Tutor, called Learn with Jamie, writes a lesson in chat for a topic the learner picks.

On Juno Growth, every suggestion is based on a person’s own goal and plan. It draws only on the sources the admin enabled.

Juno also runs a server that lets outside AI assistants work with your Juno workspace. Ask your IT team whether that fits your security rules.

Our market guide compares Juno with the rest of the market.

Admins can limit the AI, and the records are detailed

Admins and users limit how far the AI reaches

An administrator may turn Jaden off. Web search stays off until a user turns it on. The AI Tutor’s entry point stays hidden until an admin turns it on. Admins can also switch off the outside apps the assistant connects to, which revokes use for all users.

Records hold the version each person received

Each learner’s record holds the published version of a training they received and their answers to its questions. The audit trail records who did what and when. You can filter it by action, user or date. Enrolment, reminders and recertification run on rules you set once. A refresher reassigns itself on schedule. Certificates carry an expiry date, an alert goes out before it, and a rule re-enrols the learner.

Customers report high completion and high use

Efficy reports 94% company-wide compliance completion across 400 employees. Raiffeisen Bank in Kyiv reports 85% to 98% completion on mandatory programmes. First Help Financial reports 100% completion on all mandatory programmes. Trax reports more than 50% monthly active users with Juno, against 4% on its previous LMS. Ask Juno how each of these customers counts a completion.

The data terms carry set deadlines

Under the data processing agreement, Juno notifies you of a security breach without undue delay. That is in any event within 24 hours of discovering it. You may object in writing to a new sub-processor within ten business days of Juno’s notice. A sub-processor is another company that handles your data for Juno. Juno is ISO/IEC 27001 certified. Customer Data is owned by you and counts as your Confidential Information.

Three outside AI companies, a web-only design and a hands-on set-up

Three outside AI companies process what your staff share with the AI

Juno’s AI features use models from Google, Anthropic and OpenAI. Personal data shared through those features is processed by all three. On Juno’s sub-processor list, the generative AI services are marked optional and serve the AI features. Juno does not control AI output or guarantee its accuracy, suitability or quality. You and your users may review, modify and edit AI output before using it. Juno warns that the assistant can make mistakes. It advises you to verify important information, especially on compliance or policy questions.

Juno’s promises on AI training sit beside its licence to your anonymised data

Juno sets the provider settings so customer input does not train the provider’s models. Juno puts on its Trust Center that customer data is never used to train AI models. You also grant Juno a licence to use permanently anonymised customer data for improving the Services. Ask whether that licence covers training AI models.

Some features are in beta, and premium AI may carry a charge

Juno may offer some AI features as pre-released beta services that may not operate correctly. Certifications are in beta and roll out gradually. Juno may offer some AI features at reduced or no cost. It may charge for premium AI features with 30 days’ notice. Ask which features you plan to rely on are beta today.

Juno runs in a web browser and does not yet claim full accessibility conformance

Juno is a web application with no separate mobile app. Juno does not yet claim full WCAG 2.1 AA conformance. WCAG is the common accessibility standard for websites. If staff learn on a phone or need assistive technology, test Juno with them before you sign.

Juno Support sets up your HR system link, and it updates once a day

HR directory sync is a daily pull of people data from your HR system. Juno Support sets it up. There is no self-serve setup screen. Ask how long the first set-up takes and how long each later change takes.

The skills reports give ratings, and managers see their own team

The Skill Assessment Heatmap can show Self, Manager or Combined competency ratings. Skills analytics gives ratings, not activity. A manager’s dashboard is limited to their direct reports. Decide which of these reports HR needs, and check each one in a demo.

Support answers by email in set hours, and the uptime promise is 99%

Support is provided by email, with UTC as the reference time and excluding Juno’s holidays. Business Hours run Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 20:00 UTC and Sunday from 08:00 to 15:00 UTC. Response times in hours or days mean Business Hours and Business Days. A Critical request gets a response within one hour. For one sent on a Saturday, the one-hour clock starts on Sunday at 08:00 UTC. Juno’s service availability commitment is 99% for a calendar year. Over a year, 1% leaves room for about 3.6 days of downtime.

Juno Training costs $8 per user per month, billed yearly unless your order form provides otherwise

Juno Training costs $8 per user per month on a yearly plan. That works out at $96 per user per year. Juno’s pricing has three team-size bands. They are up to 200, 201 to 10,000 and over 10,000. Ask which band you fall into.

Two add-ons raise the price. Talent Development adds $3 to Juno Growth. Engagement Surveys adds $3 to Juno Training. The bundle of Growth and Training has no published price. Get the price of Juno Growth in writing. Juno for Customers is sold as an annual active licence package with no published price.

Every package includes tailored setup, training, success planning and a dedicated customer success manager. Juno Training includes three compliance trainings of your choice. Third-party content can rise by up to the greater of USD 20 or 10% of the original price. Juno needs no separate approval from you for that.

Juno bills subscription fees annually unless the order form provides otherwise. The agreement renews for further terms unless either side gives written notice at least 60 days before the term ends. A discounted or promotional subscription renews at the full applicable fee.

You owe all fees for the current term if you end the agreement. The exception is a serious breach by Juno that Juno has not fixed. In that case you get a pro-rated refund of prepaid fees for the rest of the term.

Juno may change its Terms of Use at its sole discretion. Material changes take effect seven days after notice on the service or by email. Each side’s liability is capped at the fees paid in the 12 months before the event. That cap does not apply to gross negligence or wilful misconduct. Juno Journey Ltd. of Tel Aviv, Israel is the contracting entity. The agreement follows the law of Tel-Aviv, Israel if your entity is Israeli. Otherwise it follows the law of New York, NY, USA.

Leaving needs a plan. Under Juno’s terms, you have an opportunity to download your data for up to 30 days after termination. Juno may delete it after that. Under those terms Juno also ceases use of your data and deletes all copies from its systems on termination. Get one date in writing. Under the data processing agreement, Juno transfers all personal data to you or destroys it at the latest on termination. It presents deletion logs on request. The Learning Management table has one row for each learner and activity, and it exports to CSV. Juno offers a migration API on request.

You could also run training steps with agents built on your own systems. We have mapped what that looks like. The HR Agent Map

  3. What is the full fee at renewal if we sign a discounted price, and what is the notice date? Good answer: A written renewal fee, and a reminder before the 60-day deadline.
  4. Does the licence to use anonymised data to improve the Services cover training AI models? Good answer: No, written into the order form.
  5. Which AI features that we plan to use are in beta today? Good answer: A named list, and beta features that stay off until we turn them on.

  11. Can we test Juno in a phone browser with our own staff before we sign? Good answer: Yes, before the order form is signed.

Alternatives to Juno Journey, including buying nothing

Two products answer Juno’s limits in different ways. Degreed has an accessibility target. Absorb has a mobile app that syncs offline. Buying nothing is a third route.

Degreed strives for WCAG 2.2 Level AA in its web app and its mobile apps. Its admin features are only in the web app. Degreed Skills + Learning AI is a learning experience platform. Ask how it records required training.

If learners need a phone app that works without a connection, look at Absorb. Its mobile app lets employees complete training, with offline sync.

Buying nothing is also a choice. Juno bills a year at a time unless your order form provides otherwise, and its fees are non-refundable. The agreement renews unless you give 60 days’ written notice. Compare that commitment with how many people need training and how often.
