eloomi training platform from Dayforce

eloomi is a training platform that Dayforce bought in February 2024. It comes in two versions, People and Infinite. Infinite carries a public price band on Microsoft Marketplace. At expiry you have 20 business days to export your own data. On People, some course content cannot be downloaded.

In one line

A training platform for assigning courses, tracking compliance and, on the Plus plan, managing skills. Dayforce owns it.

Buy it if

You want courses, compliance records and skills in one system. Ask eloomi which plan holds its performance tools. You accept paying in advance. You can run a rollout that eloomi puts at 4 to 6 weeks.

Do not buy it if

You need to keep the articles and tests you build in eloomi when you leave. On People, they cannot be downloaded. You need one written total before a sales call. The Marketplace band covers one plan, and the HR system links are an add-on.

Price

On Microsoft Marketplace, eloomi Infinite costs 6 to 11 USD per subscription per month for 25 to 200 users. It falls to 1 to 2 USD for 3,000 to 10,000 users. Above that, buyers contact eloomi for private pricing.

eloomi assigns courses, tracks compliance and adds skills on the Plus plan

eloomi is where you assign courses to staff, set deadlines and reminders, and see who finished. Reports cover each person and each group. Dayforce owns eloomi. You can buy eloomi alone or inside Dayforce’s HR system.

Three plans sit on top of each other. Play is the essential plan. It has a course builder, deadlines, reminders, reporting, learning plans, quizzes and certificates. Plus adds Skills Development and Employee Communication to Play. Talent covers the Talent and People Success suite and needs Plus. For performance, eloomi offers one-to-one meetings, performance goals, 360 feedback and development tracking.

Skills come from a library that Lightcast curates. It holds 30,000 or more skills and 75,000 or more business titles. Staff add the skills they have and the skills they want to their own profile. Job titles must be created first. After that, eloomi suggests adding Lightcast skills to each title. Plus offers a workforce skills report that covers change over time.

You can upload your own content as SCORM files, PDFs and embedded web pages (iFrames). SCORM is the standard file format for e-learning courses. Beyond that, eloomi also sells ready-made courses in bundles. The Content Store in Infinite holds more than 85,000 courses. Also, eloomi connects to LinkedIn Learning for customers who already subscribe. Its Udemy link brings in the Udemy Business catalogue.

eloomi also offers instructor-led sessions, blended learning, events and live webinars, with event reporting. Admins can set continuing professional development requirements. Staff then log and upload their progress. The rules count the hours or units that staff earn from courses, events or outside activities.

You can set certificates to expire and renew, and each person sees their own data

An admin can set certificates to expire and renew

In Infinite a certificate is valid for good by default. An admin can set it to expire after days, weeks, months or years. An admin can also require renewal. The Plus plan offers automated renewal. It also offers certification reports for audits, with past data. Also, eloomi can automate recurring compliance training. It assigns courses on its own, sends reminders and tracks progress.

A regular user sees only their own statistics

In the People version a regular user sees only their own statistics. Managers see learning statistics on content assigned to their subordinates. Admins see the progress and results of all users. In Infinite a manager gets a Teams & People space. It reports on the people who report to them. Also, eloomi logs who views and edits data. It keeps audit logs for 5 years.

The contract fixes where your data sits, and an auditor checks it

Microsoft Azure is the primary host for the application, database and backups. Under the data processing agreement, eloomi hosts your data in Ireland (EU) or the USA. The order form specifies which. Deloitte audits and certifies eloomi’s hosting, IT security and change management. For eloomi, the ISAE 3000 audit report covers change governance, IT security and GDPR. All of it is rooted in the ISO 27001 framework. Under that agreement, eloomi has no general right to use the personal data. It cannot process that data for its own purposes.

E-signatures are designed to support the FDA’s e-records rule

For manufacturers, eloomi provides e-signatures designed to support FDA 21 CFR Part 11. That rule sets when the FDA accepts electronic records and signatures as trustworthy and equal to paper. Ask eloomi what it will put in writing about that support.

It suits a team that wants HR system links and a frontline app

Customer stories run from 80 people to more than 9,000

eloomi has more than 2,000 customers worldwide. Method Putkisto has 80 users. Nagelmackers has 600 and Mountain High Resort has 1,000. The restaurant group wagamama launched the platform to over 9,000 employees. On Microsoft Marketplace, eloomi aims Infinite at small and medium businesses. Nagelmackers reports less onsite training, which saves time and money. Mountain High Resort reports thousands of hours saved. Neither story gives a figure. Ask eloomi for the figures behind these results.

eloomi plans four to six weeks, and two customers report longer

eloomi gives 4 to 6 weeks to go live. Nagelmackers, with 600 users, reports under 3 months to be operational. Method Putkisto, with 80 users, reports 5 months to take its training online. Ask who does the set-up work and what each part costs.

It connects to over 40 HR systems and to Microsoft

eloomi offers one-click links to over 40 HR and HCM systems. These create and update people’s data in eloomi from the HR system. A sync from Active Directory, Microsoft’s staff directory, runs once a day. In Microsoft Teams, eloomi also works as an app. It has an open API, which lets IT connect eloomi to other systems. A customer needs a dedicated person with API experience.

Frontline staff get an app, on Infinite only

eloomi offers a mobile app on iOS and Android for frontline workers. According to eloomi, it can onboard, train and track seasonal workers. The app is for Infinite customers only, not the People version or tablets. The platform comes in 14 languages.

You buy one of two platforms, and AI and leaving come with conditions

eloomi runs two platforms, People and Infinite. Each has its own knowledge base. Moving a customer from People to Infinite takes a day to set up the new Infinite platform. Several limits below depend on which version you hold.

Features depend on the version

The People version supports SCORM 1.2 and 2004. It does not support AICC content. AICC is another course file standard. Infinite supports SCORM 1.2 and 2004. Infinite now also supports AICC files. Infinite does not support multi-SCO SCORM courses at this time. Those are courses made of several linked parts. Ask which version your contract covers.

The Udemy link covers part of Udemy

eloomi tracks Udemy course progress with xAPI. The xAPI format is a standard for sending learning records between systems. The Udemy link does not support learning paths, assessments, embedded playback, historical completion migration or two-way sync. The Udemy link has to be part of your contract. The OpenSesame link is only for customers with an active OpenSesame subscription.

eloomi marks its AI page “Coming soon”, yet Infinite already has an AI Course Creator

eloomi marks its AI page “Coming soon”. In Infinite, eloomi already offers an AI Course Creator, with a limit of 300 AI courses per calendar year. A translated course stays hidden from learners until an admin clicks Publish language. Under eloomi’s privacy statement, AI-assisted services process personal information from interactions with customers and other business contacts. That information is not used to train the underlying third-party foundation models, unless otherwise described. That wording covers business contacts. Ask what it covers for learner data and course text.

Leaving gives you a short window

On expiry you can export your own data within 20 business days. On request, eloomi can export it in a standard format. After the export period, eloomi has the right to delete your data. One month after the last subscription date, eloomi deletes the platform. On People, only uploaded content, such as SCORM files and uploaded slideshows, can be downloaded. Individual articles and tests cannot be downloaded. You email eloomi to ask for the extraction.

Ownership has changed, and eloomi reserves the right to change the service

Great Hill Partners invested $55 million in eloomi in June 2021. Dayforce completed its purchase on 1 February 2024. In February 2026, Thoma Bravo announced it had completed its purchase of Dayforce for approximately US$12.3 billion. Under eloomi’s terms, eloomi reserves the right to modify, suspend or discontinue the services. Ask for any plan change to come with written notice.

Check which eloomi company signs

eloomi’s terms use the entity name Dayforce a/s, company number 36699752. Subsidiaries of eloomi include eloomi GmbH in Germany, eloomi Limited in the United Kingdom and eloomi Inc. in the USA. Any of them may process, store or access customer data. Companies House records ELOOMI LTD 12920057, a UK company, as dissolved on 30 September 2025. Ask whether the eloomi Limited that may handle your data is the same company Companies House records as dissolved. Ask too which company signs your contract.

Infinite has a public price band, and you pay in advance

eloomi Infinite carries a public price on Microsoft Marketplace, in four bands. For 25 to 200 users the price is 6 to 11 USD per subscription per month. For 300 to 700 users it is 5 to 6 USD. For 800 to 2,000 users it is 3 to 4 USD. For 3,000 to 10,000 users it is 1 to 2 USD. Above 10,000 users, buyers contact eloomi for private pricing.

The unit is per subscription per month, by number of users. Ask whether that means per person. The offer is called the Infinite Public Flat Rate Offer 2025. Ask whether the 2025 offer still applies to a new contract. A one-month free trial on the Marketplace plan covers up to 10 users.

Some parts cost extra. Native Integrations need an add-on to your subscription. The Plus plan offers API and Integrations as an add-on service. When eloomi explains the move to Infinite, it treats the API, Native Integrations and work-account login as purchases. Ask for a written price for each.

You activate users within an agreed user limit. Above that limit, eloomi bills users automatically. Prices are in USD, EUR, GBP or DKK, excluding taxes. Fees may rise each year by the US Consumer Price Index.

Payment is in advance. On a multiyear term you pay in advance for each 12 months. All payments and billing are non-refundable. Payments already made are not reimbursed on termination. Either side may terminate with at least one month’s written notice before the end of the subscription period. Without that notice the subscription renews, whether or not you use the services. Under eloomi’s terms, a reduction of users takes effect in the next term. That applies if you give notice at least 30 days before the current term ends.

Under eloomi’s terms, no warranty of suitability or fitness is made. Under those terms, liability is limited to payments received in the previous 12 months. Danish law and the courts of Copenhagen apply by default.

You could also run training steps with agents built on your own systems. We have mapped what that looks like. The HR Agent Map

What to ask eloomi before you sign

  1. Does my contract name Infinite or People? Good answer: Infinite, with the plan name beside it.
  2. On Microsoft Marketplace the price is per subscription. Does that mean per person? Good answer: A written unit, such as per person per month.
  3. Does the 2025 Marketplace offer still set my price for a new contract? Good answer: Yes, with the date the price holds until.
  4. What do the API, Native Integrations and work-account login cost, line by line? Good answer: Three written prices, or a written note that they are included.
  5. A Microsoft Entra sync pulls in inactive users by default. Do they count toward my user limit? Good answer: No, and the order form says so.
  6. Which plan includes the performance tools, such as goals and 360 feedback? Good answer: A named plan with a written price.
  7. Which plan carries certificate renewal and audit reports, and what does that plan cost? Good answer: A named plan with a written price.

  9. How far can the yearly fee rise under the US Consumer Price Index clause? Good answer: A cap in percent for the whole term.
  10. Can I download courses built inside eloomi, or only files I uploaded? Good answer: Every course, in a written export plan.
  11. Which eloomi company signs my contract, and where is it registered? Good answer: A named company with a current registration number.
  12. Which outside company supplies the AI model, and is my course text kept out of its training? Good answer: A named company and a written promise covering course text and learner data.
  13. If I am on People, will eloomi keep it running for my whole term? Good answer: Yes, in writing, with notice before any change.
  14. How do you count external users, and what triggers extra charges? Good answer: A written definition and a price for each external user.
  15. Which of my languages does the platform cover? Good answer: A written list that covers every language you need.

Alternatives to eloomi

If eloomi’s content, exit terms or contract do not fit, look at Go1 and LearnUpon. Buying a smaller eloomi plan is a third route.

Go1 suits a team that wants to pick its courses first. Go1 calls itself a content platform, not a traditional LMS. Premium Pro and Premium Essentials carry 80,000 or more courses from over 300 providers. With Essentials Select you choose 10, 25 or 50 courses and swap them at any time. At eloomi, you buy bundles of 25 or 50 courses, or all-access. Ask eloomi whether bundled courses can be swapped. Go1 also exports its content as SCORM and xAPI packages for another LMS, once an add-on integration is enabled.

LearnUpon suits a team that trains people outside the company. LearnUpon for Customer Education starts from 300 users. LearnUpon for Employees starts from 100 users. Gusto uses LearnUpon for 1,500 employees and 10,000 or more partners. From eloomi, you can also buy an external training LMS. Under eloomi’s terms, Extended Enterprise Users are external users, and misuse results in suspension or additional charges. Ask eloomi how it counts them.

Play is eloomi’s essential LMS plan. Skills, employee communication and the Talent suite sit in the Plus and Talent plans. A team that only needs to assign and track courses can price Play first.

Sources and method Everything said about eloomi here comes from eloomi’s own product, solution and legal pages. It also comes from its help centres for the People and Infinite products. Other sources are its customer stories and articles, the Microsoft Marketplace listing, and Dayforce and Thoma Bravo releases. The last two are the UK company register and the US federal rule on electronic records. What eloomi publishes about its own product is taken as its description of that product. Statements about Go1 and LearnUpon come from their own pages. Every source was read on 21 October 2026.
