Go1

Go1 Learn gives you a very large shelf of ready-made courses. A light layer lets you assign them and see who finished. It suits you if the shelf is what you are buying. It stops short if you need a full learning system or proof of what your people can do. You pay for named people and a content package, and the contract renews each year.

In one line

A library of ready-made courses from outside providers, with tools to assign them and report on completion.

Buy it if

You want to buy courses more than you want to build them. You want to assign and track them from one place. You run Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, HiBob, Docebo or Microsoft Teams, which Go1 connects to.

Do not buy it if

You need a promise that every course stays on the shelf. You need a native phone app. You need formal skills assessments.

Price

Go1 prices by named user, content package and added services. UK public contract awards for Go1 run from £52,500 to £547,875. The contract renews each year and fees can rise at each anniversary.

Go1 gives you a shelf of ready-made courses and the tools to assign them

Go1 sells access to a large shelf of ready-made courses. It calls itself a content platform, not a traditional learning management system. It also calls itself a content aggregator. That means one place to reach courses from many providers.

Go1 Learn is the product that wraps the shelf. Admins add users, assign courses and track who finishes. An assignment can be required or recommended, for one person or a group. Each learner appears as Completed, In progress, Not started or Overdue. Required courses sit in an Assigned to you section, ordered by due date. Go1 Learn is now the default platform for all customers. The older MyGo1 platform retires fully on 31 December 2026.

Premium Pro and Premium Essentials cover 80,000+ courses. The plans page puts the number of providers at over 300. The FAQ and the product description put it at over 250. The FAQ also gives the course count as hundreds of thousands. Ask which numbers apply to your plan. Essentials Select works differently. You choose 10, 25 or 50 courses from the Premium Essentials library and swap them at any time. Four premium providers are not in the Essentials Select plans.

You can add your own courses. Go1 accepts SCORM, Tin Can (xAPI), AICC and cmi5 files. These are the standard file formats for e-learning courses. Go1 also has authoring tools. Custom courses built by Go1 designers cost extra. Live training works as well. An event inside a course has sessions that learners book. Go1 can export SCORM and xAPI packages for an outside learning system once an add-on integration is on.

AI runs through the product. Each learner lands on a homepage tailored to role, skills and recent activity. An AI assistant searches the library. Another AI tool builds a playlist from a learning goal. A third answers questions about your learning reports in plain language. Morgan brings the same suggestions into Slack and Microsoft Teams. It also sends a weekly digest of overdue, due-soon and newly assigned learning.

Go1 is strongest on its library, its reminders and its links to HR systems

Courses in many languages, with some translated by AI

The plans page puts courses at 120+ languages. The FAQ puts content at more than 45 languages. Ask how many languages your plan’s courses cover. Admins can limit which topics and providers learners see. Go1 translates eligible premium content with AI into 27 languages and dialects. The interface itself comes in nine languages.

Required training is easy to assign and chase

An assignment can repeat on a schedule, which suits compliance refreshers. Learners get emails when training is assigned, when a due date nears and when a reminder goes out. Managers build reports for their own team. Reports export to CSV or Excel. Awards group several courses into one item you assign for compliance, CPD or a skills pathway. CPD means continuing professional development.

It connects to HR and learning systems you may already run

Go1 has a certified Workday integration that syncs, assigns, launches and tracks Go1 content inside Workday Learning. It also connects to SAP SuccessFactors, HiBob, Docebo and Microsoft Teams. Oracle, ADP, Dayforce, Paylocity, Rippling, Deel, Paycor and Darwinbox are integration partners. A data feed adds, blocks and updates users to match your records. Standard integrations take 2 to 4 weeks at the fastest. Go1’s typical timeline is 12 to 18 weeks. Depending on package, Go1 provides an implementation manager.

Three customers report higher completion

Wave Utilities has a workforce of 350 and reports completion rising from 78 to 98 percent. JCDecaux reports a 60% increase in course completions. It also reports engagement rising from an estimated 20% to 95%. San Diego County Regional Airport Authority reports a 40% increase in engagement and course completion. Go1 published all three results.

Its security paperwork is in place

Go1 reports SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001 and GDPR compliance. Under its data processing agreement, Go1 must tell you about a data breach within 24 hours of discovery. Go1 posts notice of new outside data handlers on its Trust Center at least thirty days before they start.

Go1 stops short on skills reporting, course guarantees and phone access

Read these before you compare prices.

Skills and gap reporting are thin

Go1 does not provide formal skills assessments. It tags all content with up to seven skills. The split between compliance and upskilling in Skills Insights is inferred by machine learning and is a guide. Users do not see automated comparisons against proficiency benchmarks or individual capability gaps. Essentials Select customers get basic reporting only, with no Insights features. If you need to show what your people can do, check this first.

Courses can leave the shelf

Under Go1’s terms, content partners and courses are not guaranteed to stay available. A course is not guaranteed to reflect the latest developments, industry standards or regulatory changes. Go1 may restrict content providers if your headcount grows more than 5%. On Essentials Select, a swapped-out course keeps its learning records. Only learners with an enrolment in progress keep access to it.

There is no phone app, and everyone needs an email address

Go1 has no native mobile app. It works in the browser, and Go1 calls it fully mobile-optimised there. Go1 requires everyone to log in with an email address. Go1 has not completed full verification against WCAG 2.1 AA, the international web accessibility standard.

The AI cannot be switched off

AI in Go1 cannot be switched off. Search, recommendations and tagging run on it underneath the product. Check that your data rules allow it. The AI that people use directly is a choice. That covers Morgan, the AI Assistant, the Reporting Agent and AI-translated content. Under Go1’s terms, you are responsible for human review of AI output before use.

Your data and the early AI features

Go1 does not use your organisation’s or learners’ data to train large language models. Its terms still let Go1 use customer data to improve its products. Go1 may do so only in a form that does not disclose identifiable customer data. Morgan, the assistant for Slack and Microsoft Teams, is in an alpha testing phase. During alpha, Go1 staff may review Morgan interaction data by hand and use it to improve Morgan. Beta or experimental features are provided as is, and that includes beta AI features.

Practice conversations are an add-on with their own terms

Immersive Simulations let a learner talk to an AI avatar and get a score. It is an add-on to an active Premium Pro, Premium Essentials or Essentials Select subscription. Each licence includes up to ten simulation assignments per 12-month period. Every simulation starts from a Go1 template. Go1 may use simulation data, which includes transcripts and audio, to train its own models. Administrators see the learner’s result but not the transcript. Under those terms, you may not use a simulation to create or keep an official employee record.

Check where your people’s data sits

Go1 is hosted on Azure and can store personal data in Australia, the United States or the EU (Ireland). Processing happens mainly in Australia. Its privacy policy puts the default at servers in the United States and Australia. Under Go1’s terms, you may not send Go1 sensitive personal information. Under its privacy policy, Go1 may process work performance, leave, salary and medical-leave records about employees.

Check which Go1 company signs your contract

Go1 UK Learning Limited is one of the contracting entities in Go1’s customer terms. It had a first Gazette notice for compulsory strike-off dated 1 September 2026. The strike-off action was discontinued on 16 September 2026. Its accounts to 30 June 2025 were due by 30 June 2026 and carry an overdue warning.

Go1 charges by named person and package, and the contract renews each year

Go1 bases its price on user licences, the content package and added services. Each licence belongs to one named person. Premium Pro customers may reassign up to 20% of licences a year for leavers. Licences above the order form count may be charged at 105% of Go1’s list price.

What you get depends on the package and your spend. Each Essentials Select plan includes up to 100 seats and suits organisations under 250 employees best. Premium Essentials includes up to 6 hours of expert curation a year. Go1 puts “Speak with an expert” under Premium Essentials. Curation services and the Implementation Project Manager need a minimum annual spend of $20K USD. A dedicated Customer Success Manager is included for customers with qualifying investment levels. Premium integration partners may cost extra.

Four UK public contract awards give a sense of scale. The Met Office awarded an eLearning platform subscription worth £52,500 in total. UK Research & Innovation awarded a digital content platform contract worth £114,955. UK Shared Business Services awarded a £547,400 contract that runs from 19 February 2024 to 10 February 2027. Sellafield Ltd awarded £547,875 for the resale of a Premium Professional subscription through Talenteam. That runs from 1 July 2026 to 20 June 2029. Each figure is a total contract value. Ask for the number of users behind a figure before you compare.

Go1’s small-business page puts a personalised trial at typically 7 days. Its trial terms set the trial at fourteen days. They allow five users per customer portal unless Go1 or an order form sets another number. Under the trial terms, you may not store or process personal data in a trial. A free version converts to a paid subscription unless you cancel.

You commit for a year at a time, and the price can rise at each renewal. Go1 invoices annually in advance, and fees are due within 30 days of the invoice date. The agreement renews automatically for 12-month periods. At each anniversary Go1 may raise fees by 3% or consumer price inflation, whichever is greater. Discounts apply during the first licence term only. If you end the contract early, you owe fees to the end of the licence term. Cancelling a plan brings no prorated refund. Overdue fees can carry interest of 1.5% a month or the legal maximum, whichever is lower.

Go1’s support terms set a minimum uptime of 99.5%, and only during business hours.

Go1 may use your company name and logos in its media releases and marketing material.

After a plan ends, you get 30 days of full access. Then access is restricted, and owners and admins can reach only the billing page. Twelve months after expiry, all users lose access to the portal. An expired subscription cannot be reactivated directly. You can export enrolment data as CSV and download SCORM packages. If you ask Go1 for help extracting your data and Go1 agrees, you pay time and materials.

You could also run training steps with agents built on your own systems. We have mapped what that looks like. The HR Agent Map

What to ask Go1 before you sign

  1. Which providers and courses on my plan will stay available for the full term? Good answer: A written list, and written notice before any course is removed.
  2. What happens to my providers and my price if headcount grows more than 5%? Good answer: No provider is cut mid-term, and the price for each extra person is fixed in writing.
  3. Do the 105% rate for extra licences and the yearly fee rise apply to us, and what is the cap? Good answer: A cap in the order form and a licence price fixed for the term.
  4. Which region stores and processes our people’s data? Good answer: One named region in the order form.
  5. If we connect an HR system, which employee fields does the data feed send to Go1? Good answer: Only first name, last name, email address and user ID unless we choose more.
  6. How do people without a work email address log in? Good answer: A written method that works for every person who has no work email address.
  7. Which Go1 company signs our contract, and are its accounts filed? Good answer: A named company with accounts filed on time.
  8. Who reviews our learners’ Morgan interaction data during alpha, and can that be turned off? Good answer: A written answer that staff review is off for us.
  9. Which account team do we get at our size and spend, and is a Customer Success Manager included? Good answer: Named people and hours, in the order form.

Alternatives to Go1, including buying nothing

If Go1 falls short, look at Docebo, TalentLMS, 360Learning and LinkedIn Learning. Buying nothing is a fifth route.

Docebo is an AI-powered learning management system. Docebo admins can discover, activate, assign and measure Go1 content inside it. That makes it the route if you want a full learning system and still want the Go1 shelf.

TalentLMS is a learning management system used to train teams. Go1 has AI that cannot be switched off. In TalentLMS, administrators can enable or disable AI features for the main portal, for branches and for specific user types. It also has a free plan for up to 5 users and 10 courses.

In Go1, users do not see automated comparisons against proficiency benchmarks or individual capability gaps. 360Learning sets out skill gaps against a person’s current or target job, with recommended content. Managers and admins review and validate learner skill assessments. Its Team plan costs $8 per user per month for up to 100 users.

LinkedIn Learning gives unlimited access to a library of courses and certifications. It is not a traditional learning management system either. Its AI-assisted curation recommends only content produced by LinkedIn Learning, not custom or third-party content. Pick it if you want one company behind every course the AI recommends.

Buying nothing is also a choice. Go1 licences belong to named people, and Go1 invoices a year in advance. Count the people who will take a course before you buy. Our market guide compares every product in this market.

Sources and method Everything said about Go1 here comes from Go1’s own plans, FAQ, product and integration pages. It also comes from Go1’s terms, privacy policy, data processing agreement, help centre and customer stories. UK public contract notices and Companies House supply the contract values and company filings. What Go1 publishes about its own product is taken as its description of that product. Every source was read on 21 October 2026. Where two Go1 pages give different figures, the page gives both.
