It runs courses, live sessions and certificates for staff, partners and customers

One system holds the courses you build, the courses you buy and the live sessions. The product formerly named iSpring Learn is now called iSpring LMS. Since 22 October 2025 its pages, pricing and support sit on ispring.com. Content, users and progress stayed unchanged.

An admin enrols employees in courses and learning tracks and sets the completion rules. A learning track groups courses, assessments and other materials, from a short block to a full programme. The LMS keeps statistics on every content item and every user.

Courses you build elsewhere can be uploaded, up to 3GB a file. Third-party courses can be in SCORM, xAPI or another e-learning format. Those are the standard file types authoring tools produce. The LMS works with any authoring tool that supports SCORM, xAPI or AICC, an older standard. The company also sells the browser-based authoring tool iSpring Cloud AI. Every plan includes the iSpring Suite AI authoring tool.

Courses you buy can sit beside them. A built-in library covers workplace compliance, sales skills and leadership. Courses from Udemy and LinkedIn Learning can be assigned inside the LMS. The Go1 library is reachable from it.

Live sessions run from the same place. A calendar invites trainees, sends reminders and announces schedule changes. Zoom and Microsoft Teams sessions can be run from the LMS. Learners get a free iOS and Android app and can study without an internet connection. The system trains customers, partners, franchisees, members and employees.

Authors can use AI to draft and translate. AI Course Creation turns a description into an outline and a draft course. The draft has text and quiz questions. The AI translator offers 104 languages and regional variants.

Prices fall from $6.91 to $3.97 a user a month, and user numbers cannot be cut mid-term

The Business plan has three published prices in US dollars. At 100 users it costs $6.91 per user a month, or $8,286 a year. At 300 users it costs $4.46 per user, or $16,050 a year. At 500 users it costs $3.97 per user, or $23,790 a year.

iSpring bills on active users. A user is active after logging in at least once during a month. The agreement counts active users in one-month periods. Quantities also cannot be reduced during the term. So falling log-ins may not lower your bill. Get the first question below answered in writing.

Prices exclude sales tax, VAT and similar taxes. The company offers no government, non-profit or academic discounts. The Enterprise plan is by request for fewer than 100 users. Buyers with 100 or more users who do not fit the standard plans can write to iSpring. They can ask for a special solution.

What to ask iSpring before you sign

1. If fewer people log in than we bought, what do we pay? Good answer: A written answer that explains how active-user billing fits a quantity that cannot be reduced.
2. Does the money-back guarantee on your pricing page apply to the cloud version? Good answer: Yes, in the order form, with its conditions written out.
3. Which events end the agreement under Section 14.2 (a) or (b), and so trigger a refund? Good answer: A short written list, with the refund for each.
4. What cap will you put on renewal fees? Good answer: A capped percentage in the order form.
5. Will you give more than 15 days’ notice before changing fees? Good answer: Yes, with a fixed price for the whole term.
6. Where do OpenAI, AssemblyAI, ElevenLabs and Google Cloud process our AI input? Good answer: A named country for each provider, in the data agreement.
7. Can we keep the AI features switched off for every author? Good answer: Yes, with the agreement confirming that AI use is optional.
8. Which service promise can you add that covers the AI features? Good answer: A written promise that covers them.
9. Your features page counts 30 portal languages and your help centre counts 36. Which do we get? Good answer: One number, with the language list attached.
10. Does our HR system connect directly, or only through Zapier? Good answer: A named link, with the fields it syncs.
11. What record is kept when an administrator changes a certificate’s expiry date? Good answer: A log with the person, the date and the old value.

Alternatives to iSpring LMS

If iSpring LMS does not fit, look at TalentLMS or Docebo, or run the free trial before you commit.

Start with TalentLMS if you are a non-profit. That is because iSpring offers no government, non-profit or academic discounts. Registered non-profits get 20% off the TalentLMS annual plan.

Start with Docebo if you need a link to Workday, ADP Workforce Now, HiBob or Namely. Docebo has connectors that import users from Workday and ADP Workforce Now. It also syncs users from HiBob and Namely. It supports over 400 integrations, but the Elevate plan includes up to 4 of them.

Buying nothing yet is a real option if you cannot say how many people will log in. The 30-day free trial needs no payment card. After you pay, the quantity cannot be reduced during the term, and iSpring may change fees on 15 days’ notice.
