Learnifier

Learnifier is a learning platform from Learnifier AB in Stockholm. It trains staff, contractors and outside groups, and it keeps the completion records. The Professional plan starts at €1,100 a month on annual billing for up to 250 active users. Enterprise is priced on request. Learnifier’s own pages give different answers on file standards and on how long you can export your data.

In one line

A learning platform that assigns courses, issues certificates and tracks who finished. It serves staff and outside groups.

Buy it if

You must show who finished required training and when a certificate expires. You also train contractors, partners or customers. You want your data hosted in Sweden or Ireland. You plan to build your own courses. Its ready-made library has more than 500 courses in Swedish and is priced separately.

Do not buy it if

You need a firm price for a large group before a sales call. Enterprise pricing is custom. You want to shrink the subscription during a term. Under Learnifier’s contract, subscriptions cannot be decreased during the term. You expect AI course creation, translation or subtitling to switch on with the plan. They need a signed AI agreement.

Price

Professional starts at €1,100 a month on annual billing, or €1,320 a month billed monthly. It includes up to 250 active users. Enterprise is custom. A certificate add-on from Aivaton costs 12,000 SEK a year.

Learnifier trains staff and outside groups and keeps the records

Learnifier AB is a Swedish company based in Stockholm. Its platform combines an LMS with an LXP, which is a platform built around finding and suggesting content. Learnifier was built for organisations that train people outside the company. Contractors, seasonal staff and subcontractors can be given access to specific courses.

An administrator builds courses in a built-in tool made for non-technical users. Courses can also come in as PowerPoint, PDF or video files. Learnifier supports self-paced learning, classroom events, virtual events and a mix of self-paced and live sessions. After a moderated event, an administrator or instructor marks each person passed or failed. Until then the event shows as waiting for evaluation.

A manager can see and act on their own team’s training. Team View starts at Professional. It lets a manager enrol members, follow progress and handle requests. Managers can see who has finished required training. An instructor manages only the projects they were invited to. Reports show completion rates, time spent, quiz results and certificate status.

Learners can train on a phone, even offline. Learnifier has an app for iOS and Android. Learners download resources and study offline. Learnifier offers this for field staff and frontline workers with a poor connection. Staff can log in with their existing company login. Users can be added and removed automatically from Microsoft’s staff directory, Entra ID.

Our market guide places Learnifier next to the rest of the learning systems market.

Expiry reminders, EU hosting and a quick start

A certificate that expires triggers its own reminder and re-enrolment

If you set it up, a certificate goes out when a learner finishes a course. Learnifier tracks the expiry date and sends reminders before it lapses. It re-enrols learners when a certification needs renewing. Managers can see expired certificates and those about to expire. Learnifier also automates one-click audit reports.

You choose the country where your data sits

The customer chooses between Amazon Web Services in Ireland and Elastx in Sweden. Data in the Swedish facility does not leave Sweden. The Swedish host has no subprocessors. It employs only Swedish citizens. That provider holds ISO 27001, ISO 27017 and ISO 27018 certificates. Communication services run in Europe, the USA and other countries. Ask which of them touch your data.

Most customers go live within a few weeks, with training included

Learnifier expects most organisations to go live within a few weeks. New customers get training during onboarding. Basic support comes at no extra charge under the contract. Support replies within 24 hours under a set service level. A Premium Support tier adds faster replies and proactive services.

Employee data flows in from HR and recruiting systems

Learnifier links to SD Worx, Simployer, Hailey HR and Flex HRM for employee data. Hailey HR is the primary data source and syncs in real time. Teamtailor and Jobylon send new recruits across. An open API lets your IT team connect other systems. Its open API and Integration Services make a Salesforce link possible. The TRUE link sends data the other way. With TRUE certificates on, it passes the certificates learners earn to TRUE. It also passes the participant’s name, email address and course details. Ask whether finished courses and certificates can flow back to your own HR system.

It suits organisations that must prove who finished training

Training across several countries means courses in several languages

Löfbergs is a family-owned coffee roaster. It has 300 employees in six countries. Hector Rail works in Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Germany. It must adapt its training materials to each. Learnifier’s learner screens come in 26 or more languages, though an April 2024 help article gave 23. AI translation makes translated versions of courses for customers who have the AI agreement. Admin screens come in Swedish, Norwegian, English and German.

Large groups of volunteers and event staff

At Göteborgsvarvet, 2,858 people finished the training in the first round. That was just over 90 percent of the estimated number who got the links. From One To Another cut the onboarding of new volunteers from about 10 hours to 3. The customer calls that a 70% improvement.

Regulated work where a lapsed certificate matters

Hector Rail’s workforce includes train drivers, shunters and train hosts. In Norrtälje, the rescue service uses certificates for critical training. Employees get an automatic reminder when a refresher is due. Its compliance page names transport, railway, and fire and safety as highly regulated fields it serves.

AI needs an agreement, and its own pages disagree on file standards

AI course creation, translation and subtitling need a signed AI agreement

AI course creation takes a purpose, objectives, target group, tone and length and produces a first draft. It needs a signed AI agreement to be activated. AI translation and AI subtitling are available to customers who have the AI agreement. Learnifier’s own pages date the course creation launch differently. Its January and February 2026 update puts it in beta. Its February and March 2026 update puts it as coming soon. Its product news dates the launch to 12 February 2026. AI subtitles cannot be edited. Switching AI subtitling on also processes all earlier videos.

The AI quiz maker is not for courses with personal data

The AI quiz maker turns course text into multiple-choice questions. It made up to 10 at its 2024 beta. A 2025 update gives up to 30. Administrators should review every generated question. The quiz tool uses a version of AI not trained on your course content. Learnifier warns that it should never be used in courses that contain personal data or other sensitive information. Check each course before you press the button.

Learnifier’s pages disagree on course file standards

Its product FAQ puts import at PowerPoint, PDF, video, SCORM, xAPI and LTI 1.3. Its help centre puts support at SCORM 1.2 only, a common course file format. A 2025 update added support for newer formats, xAPI and cmi5. Progress cannot be tracked when H5P content or other interactive tools are embedded. H5P is a tool for adding interactive content. Test your own files before you sign.

Re-enrolling a learner deletes what they uploaded

Renewal training relies on re-enrolment. When an administrator re-enrols a participant, everything the participant uploaded is deleted. Their status returns to Not started. The earlier attempt moves to history. If an auditor wants the uploaded evidence, ask where it lives after a renewal.

The ready-made library is in Swedish and is priced separately

Learnifier Content is the ready-made course library. It holds more than 500 courses in Swedish in 19 categories. Its price varies by the number of users and the courses you choose. Ask what exists in the languages you need, and what it adds to the bill.

Its skills offer works alongside your HR system

Learnifier offers skills management as a platform that complements existing HR systems. Through an HR system integration, learning data can connect to performance and competency frameworks. Required competencies can be defined and compared with actual progress through structured learning programs. Ask which skills data lives in Learnifier and which stays in your HR system.

From €1,100 a month for 250 people, with extras and a firm contract

Professional starts at €1,100 a month on annual billing, or €1,320 a month if you pay monthly. It includes up to 250 active users. If all 250 places are used, the annual price works out at about €4.40 per person per month. Enterprise has custom pricing and a user volume set for you. Learnifier’s product FAQ offers two plans, Professional and Enterprise. Its help centre articles also refer to a Starter plan, so ask which plans you can buy today.

An active user is a user with access to one or more courses. A user counts as active as long as they have access to a course. So a contractor who still has access to a course counts toward your total. Ask when access ends.

Two features decide how much of your work is automatic. Rule-based enrolment, which assigns training by rules, is available from Enterprise. Custom and scheduled reports are included in Enterprise and are an add-on for Professional. Check both against how you plan to assign and prove training. Enterprise also adds custom roles, personalised learning paths, full branding with custom code and a dedicated Customer Success Manager.

Certificates appear among the Professional plan’s features. Learnifier also sells a certificate add-on from Aivaton at 12,000 SEK a year. Aivaton onboarding is mandatory at a one-time 3,500 SEK, so the add-on costs 15,500 SEK in its first year. A custom certificate template is a one-time 12,500 SEK service. Ask what the add-on gives you beyond the plan’s certificates. Certificates through TRUE share the participant’s name, email address and course details with TRUE, which acts as a subprocessor. You activate TRUE by approving it.

Subscriptions are charged in advance. Under Learnifier’s contract, fees cannot be cancelled or refunded, and a subscription cannot be decreased during the term. Prepaid fees for the rest of the term are refunded when the customer ends the contract for cause. Late payment carries interest of 1.5% of the unpaid balance per month. The legal maximum applies if it is lower. Each party’s liability for a single incident is capped. The cap is the amount you paid in the 12 months before it. The contract follows Swedish law.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless you give notice before the term ends. The renewal lasts for the expiring term or one year, whichever is shorter. Its pricing page asks you to cancel one month ahead of renewal, unless your contract sets other terms. Its help centre asks for written notice at least 30 days before the end of the term. Under its contract, Learnifier may suspend or end your use after written notice. It can do so if it decides the use is excessive or abusive.

Its FAQ gives a 99.9% uptime promise. Its contract commits to commercially reasonable efforts to keep the service available around the clock, apart from planned downtime. Put the figure you want in your order form.

Your records matter most when you leave. Under its contract, Learnifier makes a file of your data available through its API. You must ask, and the window is 30 days after termination. After those 30 days it has no obligation to maintain or provide your data. Its help centre puts the export window at 90 days after termination or expiration. Exports come as CSV or Excel files for user information, course completions and activity logs. Its help centre adds that after 90 days Learnifier will delete or destroy all copies. Help moving data to a new provider is available under a separate agreement. If a trial does not become a subscription, the data is permanently lost.

You could also run training steps with agents built on your own systems. We have mapped what that looks like. The HR Agent Map

What to ask Learnifier before you sign

  1. Which plan gives me automatic enrolment and renewal reminders, and what does it cost at my headcount? Good answer: A named plan, with the price at my headcount in writing.
  2. When does a contractor with access to an old course stop counting as an active user? Good answer: A written rule for when access ends and when the count drops.
  3. Is the 99.9% uptime promise in my order form, and what happens if you miss it? Good answer: Yes, with a remedy in writing.
  4. Do I have 30 days or 90 days to export my records after I leave? Good answer: 90 days, in my order form, with the records in CSV or Excel files.
  5. Which course file standards will my account run, and can I test one of my own files first? Good answer: A named list, confirmed with a test file before I sign.
  6. Are AI course creation and AI translation live on my plan, and what does the AI agreement cover? Good answer: Yes, with the agreement attached to my order.
  7. Do I need the Aivaton add-on for the certificates I want, or does the plan cover them? Good answer: A list of what the plan covers and what the add-on adds.
  8. What notice date applies to my renewal, and who reminds me of it? Good answer: One date in writing, with a reminder from you before it.

Alternatives to Learnifier, including buying nothing

If Learnifier does not fit, look at Go1 for ready-made courses in more languages. Look at Degreed for skills on top of a records system. Buying nothing is a third route.

Learnifier Content holds more than 500 courses in Swedish. Go1’s Premium Pro and Premium Essentials plans offer 80,000 or more courses in 120 or more languages. Go1’s learner interface comes in nine languages. Go1 is a content platform, and you can buy it without an LMS. Ask Learnifier what its library offers in the languages your people work in.

Learnifier’s skills work runs alongside your HR system. In Degreed’s model, an LMS manages content, events, compliance and learning records, and Degreed Learning sits on top of it. In Degreed, course enrolments happen in an LMS or another course provider. Its Skill Review is an adaptive questionnaire, and a chosen endorser sees the learner’s responses and the result. That puts Degreed beside a records system such as Learnifier. Degreed sets its price by company, needs, budget and headcount.

Buying nothing can be right if you train a handful of people or run one event. Professional starts at €13,200 a year on annual billing. Under Learnifier’s contract, fees cannot be cancelled or refunded once you sign. Test before you commit. A new account gets instant access to every feature for 30 days, with no payment card. Export anything you want to keep first, because trial data is lost if you do not convert. For the rest of the market, see the learning management systems guide.

Sources and method Everything said about Learnifier here comes from Learnifier’s own pages. These are its product, pricing, integrations, security, subprocessor, compliance and skills pages. They also include its blog, product news, help centre, update posts and master service agreement. The Go1 and Degreed statements come from their own pages. What a vendor publishes about its own product is taken as its description of that product. Every source was read on 21 October 2026.
