Learningbank
Learningbank is a Danish training platform for people who work in shifts or away from a desk. It assigns required training and tracks certificates. It answers staff questions from your own documents. Staff use it on their phones. Learningbank sells it by proposal. The contract runs a year at a time and needs three months’ written notice to end.
A Danish training platform with a compliance record, an AI answer tool and a phone app. It is sold as a base plus add-ons.
You train staff across many sites or shifts. You must prove who finished required training and which certificates are still valid. You want staff to ask questions and get answers from your own documents. If you also train franchise staff or partners, get them written into the agreement first.
You need only a basic course library with minimal rollout. That buyer may not need the platform.
Learningbank quotes by proposal. Fees may rise each year by HICP inflation plus up to 3 percent.
It keeps the training record for every site and answers staff questions
Learningbank can hold the record of required training for every site in one place. Compliance is the part built for this. It assigns required training by role, team or location. It tracks completion and certificate status on its own. Each requirement is marked Completed, In progress, Missing or Expired. Compliance gives a live view by team, role and location. Managers download audit-ready records of what was required, who completed it and when. These records are ready for inspections and ISO audits.
Certificates sit in the same record. Each one carries a name, category, description and validity. Its status reads Valid, Expired or Expiring Soon. Outside certificates such as first aid and forklift can be uploaded and managed.
Classroom and outside training go into the learning record too. Customers can build blended courses that combine in-person sessions with online learning. Training requests go through an approval step, and Learningbank tracks attendance. Events can run in person, by video chat or both. Staff can register learning done outside the platform. Once approved, it joins their learning record.
Geni is Learningbank’s AI writing tool. It turns an uploaded PDF into a course. It builds text and interactions from a topic you describe. It also rephrases or shortens text an admin selects. IIH Nordic cut course creation with Geni from about 2 hours to 20 to 30 minutes.
Staff can use Learningbank on their phones. Employees install the app from the App Store or Google Play. Learningbank delivers short lessons in a mobile-first design.
Another system can also feed Learningbank and read from it. Its open API can retrieve, create, update and deactivate users. It can also return completion data for courses and learning paths.
Customer results, answers in staff’s own language and EU hosting
Completion on required training reaches 89 to 100% at named customers
Lindab assigned safety training to 500 employees and reached 89 percent completion. Uhrenholt reached 98 to 100% completion on Code of Conduct, GDPR and IT security training. Prima Assistanse reached up to 98% on mandatory learning at scale. At Netto, completion after two months surpassed the past two years.
Onboarding, training time and sales results at named customers
Panduro cut onboarding time by 50 percent, from around 40 hours to 20. PureGym raised onboarding completion from 3% to 80%. Lindab cut classroom training from a couple of days to one. Panduro reports that revenue increased through better product knowledge. Pierre Fabre’s sales into pharmacies increased twice as much in pharmacies with a programme participant as in pharmacies without training.
Staff can ask questions in their own language
Hesburger has around 9,500 employees and runs its HeseAcademy on Learningbank. Its employees get Knowbot answers in their native language, based on Hesburger’s own internal knowledge. Any user can ask Knowbot in a language different from the source material. Auto-translation also translates course content in a few clicks, as an add-on.
AI prompts are kept out of model training, and hosting is in the EU
Users type text into the AI and get text back. Neither is used to train, retrain or improve OpenAI or other foundational AI models. They are not accessible to other customers or to OpenAI. Geni does not store an uploaded PDF. Hosting is in the EU with AWS, Amazon’s cloud service, in Dublin and Frankfurt. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Learningbank has an ISAE 3402 type II report, based on ISO 27001, available on request.
Where it stops on records, AI, support and who may use it
Deleting a course or a person removes completions from Track
Track is the reporting area. Delete a course or a user and the completion no longer shows in Track. Unassign learning and any unfinished progress is removed from Track. An admin can set when a user is deactivated, anonymized or deleted. Anonymizing removes the name, email and username. All other information stays, with the learning progress. Neither anonymizing nor deleting a user can be reversed.
Geni and Knowbot have reading limits, and you review the AI’s work
Create with Geni cannot read images or illustrations in PDFs. Knowbot does not read PowerPoint files. A broad request such as “list all products” may return an incomplete overview. Learningbank does not guarantee that AI answers are accurate, complete or suitable. You remain responsible for checking them. You also accept that the products, including AI functionality, may contain errors. Those errors do not breach the agreement.
Every support request goes through your own administrator
All support requests go through the Platform Owner or a trained administrator. Learningbank must train at least one admin. Training a replacement may carry a separate fee at the then-current price list. Support beyond the described scope needs a separate agreement.
The subscription is for your internal business purposes
Under Learningbank’s terms, the subscription may be used solely for your internal business purposes. Under its data agreement, the platform is for training your employees. The people whose data it covers are your employees, with the note “B2B Customers and their employees”. Put your exact audience to Learningbank in writing.
It suits teams of around 250 and up, across sites and shifts
Teams from around 250 employees to many thousands
It is a strong fit from around 250 employees to many thousands. Typical industries are retail, hospitality, production, service and facility, and quick-service restaurants. Salling Group is Denmark’s largest retail group. It has 68,000 employees. IIH Nordic has around 50 employees. That is smaller than this range.
Training spread across sites and shifts
It is built for people away from desks, across locations or in shifts. Lindab has more than 5,000 employees. They work at 125 sites in 24 countries. Panduro is a creative retail chain. It has 80 stores in Sweden, Norway and Denmark. 7-Eleven Denmark needed a way for franchisees to train staff. Franchisees spend less time coordinating courses.
Connections to HiBob, BambooHR, Personio and Tamigo
The HiBob and BambooHR connections automate manual steps. These cover new employees, role changes and new training requirements. The Personio connection automates manual work. It sends the right learning to the right employees. Employee data syncs between Tamigo and Learningbank. At Hovedstadens Svømmeklub, new coaches are added automatically. Go-live depends on the rollout and the integrations. A dedicated team helps staff adopt it.
A quote built on your headcount, a year-long term and three months’ notice
The proposal is where the cost starts. Learningbank matches it to workforce size, set-up and rollout. Professional Services cover bespoke content, integrations and training sessions. They are priced separately and carry a one-time fee. Products, add-ons and other parts not named in the agreement need a separate agreement or extra fees. AI functionality forms part of the subscription where the subscription includes it.
You pay before each subscription period starts. Learningbank invoices subscription fees before the start of each period, unless agreed otherwise. Fees are payable in advance for each period. Prices exclude VAT. Learningbank may suspend access if you have not paid in full within 10 days of a payment reminder.
Leaving takes planning. The minimum term is one year. After that the term renews in one-year periods. Ending it needs written notice at least three months before the end date. A downgrade needs three months’ notice and takes effect at the end of the term. Changes to the terms take effect as notified unless you object in writing within 14 calendar days.
The price can move after the first year. At renewal, fees follow Learningbank’s then-current pricing and products, unless agreed otherwise in writing. Fees may also rise yearly by HICP inflation, a European price index, plus up to 3 percent. Discounts apply only to the term for which they are agreed. Where fees depend on user numbers, a rise may change them. The change may apply from the date of the increase, possibly for months already past.
Liability is limited. Learningbank targets 99.8% uptime, excluding scheduled maintenance. Total liability is capped at the amount you paid in the 12 months before the event. Learningbank is not liable for fines imposed on you. It is also not liable for indirect loss, including loss of data or damage to data records. Danish law governs the agreement. The Copenhagen City Court has exclusive jurisdiction.
You keep ownership of your data and the content you upload. After termination, Learningbank erases your platform. It keeps a backup for 30 days, then deletes it. When a Learningstore subscription ends, your rights to use the content end, including customisations. Learningbank permits export of personal data in line with the capabilities of the platform. On request it issues an annual audit report on its IT security at its own cost. It is entitled to separate compensation for audits by you.
You could also run training steps with agents built on your own systems. We have mapped what that looks like. The HR Agent Map
Questions to put to Learningbank before you sign
- Which parts of the platform are in our proposal, and which AI features are in the subscription? Good answer: Every part named in the agreement, with Geni, Knowbot and auto-translation each marked in or out.
- Which notice date applies to us, and will you remind us in writing before it? Good answer: A date in the order form and a written reminder.
- What cap will you put on yearly fee rises, and what happens at renewal if we agree nothing in writing? Good answer: A fixed cap, written into the agreement.
- If our user numbers rise, from what date do fees change, and can they change for past months? Good answer: From the next invoice only, written into the order form.
- Does the agreement cover training staff of franchisees, contractors or partners? Good answer: Yes, named in the agreement, with the data agreement matched to it.
- How do we keep completion records when a course or a person is deleted? Good answer: A clear method to export records before any deletion.
- How do we export our courses and records before you erase the platform? Good answer: Every course and record in a usable file, before the end date.
- When nobody rates a Knowbot answer, Knowbot judges it. How does that feed the response-quality figure? Good answer: A plain explanation and a way to review the answers behind the figure.
- Which services send our people’s data outside the EU or EEA? Good answer: A named list of partners, each covered by Standard Contractual Clauses, the EU’s standard transfer terms.
- What does an audit by us cost? Good answer: The annual report free, and a set rate for any further audit.
- Is Trending Learning Campaigns live, and which add-on includes it? Good answer: Yes, or a dated plan in writing.
- What will integrations and training sessions cost under Professional Services? Good answer: A fixed figure for each, before signing.
- Will Learningbank use our name and logo in its marketing? Good answer: Only with our written approval.
Alternatives to Learningbank, including buying nothing
If Learningbank does not fit, look at Learnifier or eloomi. Buying nothing is a third route.
Under Learningbank’s terms, the subscription may be used solely for your internal business purposes. If you train customers or partners, look at Learnifier. It was built for organisations training external audiences.
Learningbank is a strong fit from around 250 employees. eloomi is tailored for small and medium businesses. On the Microsoft Marketplace, eloomi’s price bands start at 25 users. Check its terms first. Its payments are non-refundable, and the subscription renews whether or not you use the services.
Buying nothing yet is a real option if you need only a basic course library. A one-year minimum and three months’ notice are a lot to commit to for that need. A tool you already use may cover it, along with a completion record. If so, write down what it cannot do before you ask for a proposal.
