Bridge

Bridge is training software designed for companies of 250 to 5,000 employees. It starts as a learning system. Two higher plans add skills tracking and performance reviews. Plans start at $15,000 a year. Bridge typically sells three-year agreements.

In one line

Training software that can also hold skills data and performance reviews, sold in three plans.

Buy it if

You want training, skills and reviews from one supplier. Your company has between 250 and 5,000 people, the range Bridge designs for. You can sign a three-year agreement.

Do not buy it if

You need xAPI and cannot confirm it in writing. You want to pay monthly. You need two-step sign-in on Bridge itself, not through an outside identity provider.

Price

Plans start at $15,000 a year. The final price depends on company size, platform needs, number of learners and the products you pick.

Three plans, and each one adds a layer to the training system

Bridge is a learning management system. That is software that delivers, manages and tracks employee training in one place. Employees find required courses under “Needs My Attention”. They can finish training on their phones. Admins see completions, overdue learners and engagement.

The first plan, Learn, is the learning system alone. Talent Suite adds skills. That means a skills library, gap analysis, learning recommendations, career paths, mentorship communities, skills feedback and development plans. Full Suite adds performance. That means performance reviews, goals and OKRs (a goal-setting method), and agendas for one-to-one meetings. It also means continuous feedback, and talent and succession planning. Talent reviews grade people on one axis or on a nine-box grid.

The skills layer runs on a Lightcast-powered database of over 30,000 job titles and skills. Lightcast supplies labour market data. Bridge AI reads course titles and descriptions and tags each course with the skills it teaches. It then suggests content to the learners who need those skills. Admins approve or refine every tag. Required training stays apart from voluntary recommendations. Every recommendation traces back to a skill gap or a career goal. Job titles that Lightcast does not recognise get the tag “Custom”, with no suggested skills.

Learning and reviews share one system. Managers can assign learning to close a skills gap. Talent reviews run on year-round data. They help identify who is ready for promotion today. Employees and managers can ask for skills feedback at any time.

Bridge is part of Learning Technologies Group (LTG). LTG became a private company within General Atlantic, a private equity group, on 31 March 2025. The customer contract is with getBridge, LLC. Our market guide places Bridge next to the rest of the market.

Refresher dates, phone training and ready-made courses are already in the box

Refresher dates and certificates are handled for you

Bridge tracks certifications, renewal dates, expiry dates and repeating training requirements. It sends automatic reminders. A Journey, which is a sequence of training in Bridge, can book an annual refresher exactly 12 months later. Certificates can be viewed, downloaded and printed. Bridge also offers detailed reporting for regulatory auditors. Managers see reports on their own people, limited to the users, groups and content in their area.

Downloaded courses play on a phone with no signal

The mobile app plays downloaded SCORM courses offline. SCORM is the standard file format for e-learning courses. Offline play works for SCORM 1.2 and SCORM 2004, and only in the mobile app. Completions show in Bridge when the learner reconnects. The app carries your logo, theme and colours. Learners can also capture or upload proof of a task and receive feedback from an approver.

With Talent Suite, Skillsoft courses come with the product

Skillsoft is a large course library. Bridge’s content page puts its Skillsoft courses at over 900. Bridge’s help centre gives 150 Skillsoft courses as ready to use and pre-tagged with skills. Ask which figure applies to your plan. Bridge also has over 250 courses for people managers, and most run under 15 minutes. It connects to OpenSesame, which has more than 40,000 courses, and to LinkedIn Learning. You can upload your own courses as course files, PowerPoint or JSON files.

It links to eight HR systems, and completions can flow back out

Bridge connects to BambooHR, ADP, SAP, Workday, Ceridian, UKG, Oracle and SyncHR. It has 33 integrations in all. BambooHR changes reach Bridge once a day. Okta, a sign-in service, can add, update, import and deactivate users in Bridge. Completion data can go to email, reporting tools or an HR system through flat files, automatic web notices or APIs. An API is a way for IT to connect two systems. Bridge’s APIs are free to use.

The security paperwork is in place

Bridge holds SOC 2 Type II compliance and ISO 27001 and ISO 27701 certification. It runs on Amazon Web Services and reports 99.9% average historical uptime. Bridge hosts in Australia, Germany, Ireland, Singapore or the USA, by client choice. If your company must keep data in one region, check that choice first.

Bridge is designed for 250 to 5,000 people, and its customers go well beyond that

Companies of 250 to 5,000 people with lean learning and HR teams

Bridge designs its LMS for growing mid-market companies of 250 to 5,000 employees. It aims most at those with lean learning and HR teams. Ryan Freeman is VP Learning Operations at SR. The biggest challenge was 1,000+ team members and only two trainers. In Bridge’s compliance example, a two-person team trained 2,500 people across 30 countries.

Regulated work where auditors ask for proof

Bridge suits regulated industries. It counts healthcare, cannabis, manufacturing, financial services, construction and law among them. Cresco Labs is a healthcare company with 1,000 or more people. It reports that compliance training completion rose tenfold. GA Telesis is a manufacturer with over 300 people. It reports 98% course completion and 80% less overdue training. Adult & Teen Challenge is a nonprofit with over 3,500 people. It reports a 40% cut in training costs and 100% completion of compliance training.

Large and spread-out workforces

Hato Hone St. John in New Zealand has over 12,000 people. It chose Bridge as one system for learning, talent growth and performance reviews. A UK fast food chain has over 2,000 people and 1,200 stores. Its uses are manager development, compliance and skills development.

Training for franchises, distributors and customers

Bridge offers unlimited, fully branded subaccounts. A subaccount is a separate branded area inside the same system. Bridge aims external-partner training at franchises, distributors and customers.

xAPI, sign-in, AI tools and health data are where Bridge runs out

Bridge’s own pages disagree on xAPI

xAPI is a standard for sending learning records between systems. Bridge’s help centre puts SCORM 1.2, SCORM 2004 and AICC as supported content standards. It puts xAPI as not currently supported. It adds that Bridge offers custom integration work for xAPI, typically as a paid service. Bridge’s pricing page includes “SCORM & xAPI support” in the Learn plan. Ask which page is right, and what custom work costs.

Bridge’s own sign-in has no second step

Bridge internal authentication does not support multi-factor or two-factor sign-in. An outside sign-in service that supports them can be used instead. That kind of service is called an identity provider. Decide who in your company sets that up before the contract starts.

The AI course tools run on your own OpenAI account

Author Pro writes a whole course from a prompt and translates a course in one click. It is an add-on that none of the three plans includes. It connects to the customer’s own OpenAI account, so OpenAI’s AI model does the work. The customer’s existing OpenAI agreement governs that data, and the customer buys the usage. In Bridge’s own tests, a course translation cost a few cents to a couple of dollars. The cost depends on course size and the number of languages. Once the account is linked, every user in the Author Pro account can reach the AI features. Under Bridge’s terms, relying on AI-generated content is at the customer’s own risk. Bridge advises authors to review and edit it before publishing.

Some of the AI is not live yet

Bridge’s AI assistant for account admins is in beta. Customers register interest through a form. A connector that lets a customer’s own AI assistant read Bridge data is coming soon. For now it reads data only. Enrolling people and deleting courses are planned for later. Under Bridge’s terms, the parties’ obligations do not depend on delivery of future functionality. They also do not depend on Bridge’s public comments about it.

Uploaded course files are hard to change

SCORM and AICC courses can be updated only by uploading revised files. Course Copy cannot copy them. Skillsoft courses cannot be deleted from an account, whether active or archived.

Your own courses are not translated automatically

Courses you create, SCORM files and videos are not translated automatically. Author Pro adds one-click translation, which is the add-on route.

A missing name in the Auto CSV file ends that account

Auto CSV loads a file of employees from the customer’s own server on a schedule. With Auto CSV active, users missing from the file are terminated in Bridge. Manual user management is switched off. A name dropped from the file therefore removes that person from Bridge.

Setup takes two to three months

Bridge puts implementation at 2 to 3 months. Its team offers dedicated onboarding support for implementation, integrations and data migration. Integration as a Service, Bridge’s paid help to build connections, costs extra and needs a statement of work. Custom scripting or consulting is charged at an hourly rate, also under a statement of work.

Check what goes into a health employer’s training record

Cresco Labs and Hato Hone St. John are both health care customers. Under Bridge’s terms, the customer may not use the service to collect or manage Prohibited Information. That is defined to include HIPAA protected health information and card numbers. HIPAA is the US health privacy law. Decide which fields in your own training records could count before you load any.

What the three-year term commits you to, and what can grow the bill

Plans start at $15,000 a year. Bridge typically offers three-year agreements. Under Bridge’s terms, fees are payable annually in advance. They are non-cancellable and non-refundable, except as the agreement or order form provides. On termination, the customer pays all unpaid fees through the end of the term. The exception is termination by the customer for Bridge’s uncured breach. At the starting price, three years adds up to $45,000.

The price depends on organisation size, platform needs, number of learners and the products you pick. It includes customer support, learning resources, workshops and a dedicated account manager. Several things can raise the bill after signing.

Use above the order form is charged in minimum blocks of 10% of the order form quantity. The charge covers prior use and the rest of the term. Add-ons cost extra. Author Pro and Engagement surveys sit outside all three plans. Customers can also add Advanced Media, analytics tools and performance management to a subscription. Skills raises a question too. Bridge puts skills in Talent Suite on its pricing page. A Bridge help article puts it differently. Support can enable the Skills feature in the LMS at no additional charge. Full Suite includes performance. Ask which route your plan takes for each.

Late payment adds more. Bridge may charge interest of 1.5% a month on overdue amounts, or the legal maximum if less. Bridge may also suspend all users’ access while fees are overdue.

On service, Bridge will use commercially reasonable efforts to provide annual uptime of at least 99.9%. That is an effort, not a guarantee. Under Bridge’s terms, its total liability under any indemnity, a promise to cover certain claims, is limited to $500,000. Each party’s cumulative liability is capped at what the customer paid in the 12 months before the event. Listed exceptions apply. Delaware law governs the terms. Bridge may use the customer’s name and logo in its marketing.

Leaving is its own cost. On expiry or termination, the customer removes its own data using existing functionality. Bridge destroys customer data within 30 days of the end of the order form. It keeps backup copies for a limited period. A learner transcript export carries scores and completion dates. Scheduled analytics reports can go out by secure file transfer, email, automatic web notices or Amazon S3. Amazon S3 is a cloud storage service. Plan the export before the end date.

You could also run training steps with agents built on your own systems. We have mapped what that looks like. The HR Agent Map

What to ask Bridge before you sign

  1. Is xAPI included in the Learn plan, and what does custom xAPI work cost? Good answer: A written answer that matches the pricing page, with custom work quoted as a fixed fee.
  2. What do Skills and performance reviews cost on our plan, and which route do we take? Good answer: A written price for each, or written confirmation that support turns Skills on at no extra charge.
  3. How many Skillsoft courses come with our plan, and how many arrive tagged with skills? Good answer: One number in the order form. The content page and the help centre give different figures.
  4. Which AI features are live today, and which are still planned? Good answer: A list of live features in the order form, with planned ones left out of the price.
  5. What can Bridge share to help our own approval before we link an OpenAI account? What data does the link send? Good answer: Written documents and a clear list of the data sent. Under Bridge’s terms, we alone must get any approval first.
  6. Which sign-in service supports two-step checks with Bridge, and has it been tested? Good answer: A named service, set up and tested before go-live.
  7. How does Bridge treat a training record that holds health or card data by mistake? Good answer: A written process, agreed before go-live.
  8. If we add learners in year one, how is the 10% block priced for the two years that remain? Good answer: A written price for each remaining year, set at signing.
  9. Can the three-year term include a way out if implementation misses its date? Good answer: A written exit right, or a refund of unused fees.
  10. How do we get every record out when the agreement ends, and in what formats? Good answer: A full export, tested before we sign.
  11. Bridge is WCAG 2.1 AA conformant, an accessibility standard, but its accessibility template covers only Employee and Manager roles. What covers admins and authors? Good answer: A written conformance report for every role we will use.
  12. Which other companies handle our data for Bridge, and how will you tell us about a new one? Good answer: The current list, with notice before any change. LTG’s addendum covers a new one. If we object and cannot agree on measures within 30 days, we can end processing of our personal data.

Alternatives to Bridge

If Bridge does not fit, look at three others. If you want to pay by the month, look at TalentLMS. If you need xAPI in writing, look at Litmos. If you want to start smaller, look at 360Learning. Staying with what you run today is a fourth route.

Bridge’s fees are paid yearly in advance and are non-cancellable. TalentLMS plans can be paid monthly or annually. Monthly payment covers plans up to 1,000 active users. Its Enterprise plans start at 1,000 users and can only be billed annually. TalentLMS also supports SCORM 1.2, xAPI and cmi5, a newer course-file standard.

Bridge’s help centre and pricing page disagree on xAPI. Litmos supports SCORM 1.2, SCORM 2004, xAPI and AICC, so that question does not arise.

360Learning has no minimum number of users. Its Team plan covers up to 100 users at $8 per user per month. Customers can cancel the Team plan at any time and keep access to the end of the cycle. That suits a smaller group than Bridge’s range of 250 to 5,000. Business and Enterprise plans are generally annual contracts.

Buying nothing is a real option. If the need is compliance tracking for a few courses, compare the three-year commitment with what you run today. The market guide shows the other products you could set against that commitment.

Sources and method Everything said about Bridge here comes from Bridge’s own product, pricing, security, integration and customer pages. It also comes from Bridge’s terms and conditions and its help centre. The website of its owner, Learning Technologies Group, supplies the rest. The facts about 360Learning, TalentLMS and Litmos come from each vendor’s own pricing, plans and help pages. What a vendor publishes about its own product is taken as its description of that product. Where two of Bridge’s own pages disagree, both are given. Every source was read on 21 October 2026.
