YOOBIC

YOOBIC is a retail operations app with a training part. Store teams get lessons, daily tasks and messages in one place on their phones. You buy it by the number of stores and the parts you pick. YOOBIC gives no price online, and you cannot end the contract early just because you want to.

In one line

A phone app for frontline teams that carries training next to daily tasks and messages.

Buy it if

Your people work in shops, restaurants or other sites and rarely sit at a desk. You want training in the app they already open for tasks and news. You are happy to sign a contract that renews unless you give 90 days’ notice.

Do not buy it if

You want a price before you speak to sales. You need to be able to end the contract early whenever you choose. You need a telephone line for support.

Price

YOOBIC publishes no figure. It prices by the number of stores or users and by which of its four parts you choose.

Lessons, daily tasks and messages share one phone app

YOOBIC is an AI-powered retail operations platform that joins task management, communications and learning. Its Learning part is a retail training platform for frontline teams. Staff open all three in the same app, called YOOBIC ONE.

An administrator builds lessons and quizzes, or lets AI draft them from existing documents. Courses and paths can go to people by role, location, experience or development need. New hires get their journeys, tasks and short courses automatically when they join. Store and area managers can see how new hires are doing. Reports show completion and scores, and a skill gap analysis.

The AI side has three jobs. SmartQuiz sends each learner a daily quiz. It picks questions from their earlier course results and the time since they trained. Course creation turns documents and prompts into lessons and quizzes. A third tool answers staff questions.

The AI Assistant answers from your documents only. It uses the company knowledge you approve and no internet sources. Every answer links to its source document. It tells the user when it has no answer. Staff ask by text or by voice. Roles, permissions and audience rules control who gets the AI, and human teams keep control of decisions and published material.

Training can also follow the work. Rules assign a course when task scores show a team needs support. A mandatory course can update a compliance status and collect an e-signature on completion. YOOBIC supports SCORM, the standard file format for e-learning courses. A partnership with OpenSesame brings in 25,000 ready-made courses. Learners earn badges for milestones.

Our market guide places YOOBIC next to the other learning products in this market.

Customers report more staff finishing lessons, and faster course building

Customers report two kinds of gain. More staff finish lessons on their phones. Training teams build courses in less time.

Michaels has more people learning and fewer people leaving

YOOBIC puts Michaels at 40.7K users across 1,460 stores. Learning programme participation rose 150% through short mobile lessons. Voluntary turnover fell 24%. In the same story it gives 1,350 stores and 30,000+ team members. Ask YOOBIC which figure is current.

More people finish at Moschino and GANT

Moschino has more than 150 boutiques and replaced a desktop learning system with YOOBIC. Training completion is 98% and the average course rating is 4.7 out of 5. GANT has 245 stores. Course completion rose 30% against its previous platform.

BurgerFi uses one app for company and franchise sites

BurgerFi’s earlier learning systems were out of reach for frontline staff. Adoption is now 100% across corporate-owned and franchised restaurants. Its 3K+ users across 130+ locations completed 105,000 minutes of training and 47,000 courses in the first six months.

GameStop and Longchamp build courses faster

GameStop operates over 2,900 stores in the US. It cut the time spent creating training content by up to 75%. Longchamp saves up to 10 hours a week on content with NeoCreator, YOOBIC’s AI tool.

It reaches shop-floor staff, and the certificates are in place

Lessons reach people who never sit at a desk

Lessons are short and staff complete them around the working day. The app has an offline mode once users allow regular data downloads. Ask which lessons work offline. A TFG manager reports that YOOBIC Learning trains 160 stores in two to three days. UNTUCKit reports 79% training adoption.

The security certificates are in place

YOOBIC is SOC 2 Type II certified. It holds ISO 27001, 27017, 27018 and 27701. It stores personal data only in the region on your order form. It tells you about a security incident within 72 hours where feasible. It gives at least 28 days’ notice before a new outside data handler processes your personal data. If you object and nothing is resolved, you can end the contract and get a refund of prepaid unused fees.

It connects to the HR systems you may already run

YOOBIC offers more than 200 integrations. Its integration centre connects to UKG and Workday. It syncs users from your directory, including Microsoft Entra ID, and supports single sign-on. Quiz results can flow into your HR and learning systems. A documented connection point, called an API, moves data in and out.

You can try it on your own data first

YOOBIC runs a four-week proof of value on your own data. That gives store staff a chance to use the app before you sign.

What the contract and the service commit you to

These are the terms to settle before staff rely on the app.

You cannot end the contract early just because you want to

Lawyers call this termination for convenience, and you do not have it. The agreement renews on its own unless one side gives 90 days’ written notice. You can reduce its scope only by written agreement at least 90 days before renewal. Either side can end it if the other breaches. The breach must stay unfixed 30 days after written notice. If YOOBIC ends it for your breach, you get no refund and owe fees for the whole term.

The service promise is thin

Under YOOBIC’s terms, the service is not guaranteed to run without interruption or error. YOOBIC may suspend your access at once if it decides that protects the service. Each side’s total liability is capped. The cap is the fees paid in the prior twelve months, or $10,000 if no fees are paid.

Support works by ticket, in office hours

Support runs 09:00 to 17:00 Eastern time, Monday to Friday. It goes through an online ticket and includes no telephone support. The most serious kind of fault, called severity 1, has a response time of 4 business hours. The goal for a fix or workaround is 72 hours. The clock starts once the problem is reproducible or the defect is identified. Up to five dedicated contacts from your side can use support. YOOBIC makes the majority of its Help Centre articles available only to users signed in to the app. Ask for Help Centre access during the proof of value.

The product and the terms can change under you

Under YOOBIC’s terms, features may vary and change over time. YOOBIC may change or remove any Beta Feature without notice. It may change the policies its terms include. You are deemed to agree if you keep using the service 30 days after notice. YOOBIC may also assign the agreement without your consent. That applies in connection with a merger, reorganisation, acquisition or transfer of its assets or voting securities.

YOOBIC has bought three companies since 2022

YOOBIC bought Heystan on 8 Sep 2022, SimpliField on 15 Apr 2025 and Humanitics on 13 Nov 2025. Two of the three deals came in 2025. Ask which parts of the app came from them and how they now fit together.

Shared tablets and one account per person

Every person needs their own account, and accounts cannot be shared or transferred. YOOBIC recommends one device per user, because a device saves one answer for biometric login, notifications and location. A user can also sign in on a shared site tablet with a password. Pricing can go by users, so ask how shared-tablet staff are counted. Each user’s language is set per account, and administrators cannot force it.

Who counts as your people, and where health rules apply

Under YOOBIC’s terms, use is limited to your employees and contractors. If you run franchise sites or train partners, ask whether those staff count. YOOBIC is not a HIPAA business associate and is not required to be HIPAA compliant. A US healthcare buyer should take that to its lawyers.

Getting your training records out when you leave

After the service ends, YOOBIC deletes your data or returns it at your cost. You may retrieve or delete personal data on termination. YOOBIC deletes what remains after any retrieval period in the agreement. YOOBIC makes a back-up copy at least daily and keeps each copy for 30 days. Its API has an export action that returns all results as a file. YOOBIC pricing has no hidden costs, so ask what a return of your records costs.

YOOBIC quotes a price after a sales conversation

YOOBIC publishes no price. It designs a package after it talks to you about your use cases and needs. Pricing is based on the number of stores, or on locations or users, depending on the parts you choose. Those four parts are Task Management, Communications, Learning and AI. YOOBIC pricing has no hidden costs. The Knowledge Centre, a store of approved company documents, comes at no additional cost.

Ask for Learning on its own and for each other part as a separate line. That shows what each part adds. It also shows what you pay for if you want training only.

YOOBIC invoices annually in advance on 30-day payment terms, so each year’s full fee is due up front. Fees may rise each year with a consumer price index. Ask for a cap on that rise before you sign.

You could also run training steps with agents built on your own systems. We have mapped what that looks like. The HR Agent Map

Ten questions to settle before you sign

  1. Which of the four parts do we need, and what does each one add to the price? Good answer: A written price per store or per user for each part, with Learning shown on its own.
  2. Can we run the four-week proof of value before we sign, and what does it cost? Good answer: Yes, on our own data, with the cost in writing.
  3. How far can fees rise each year? Good answer: A named cap in writing, not only a reference to a price index.
  4. How do we cut stores or users at renewal, and by what date? Good answer: A written route that fits inside the 90-day window.
  5. What happens to fees if we close or sell sites during the term? Good answer: A clause on this in the order form.
  6. Do franchise staff and partner staff count as our employees and contractors? Good answer: Yes, in writing, for every group we plan to train.
  7. Which AI features we plan to use are Beta Features, and what notice do we get before a change? Good answer: A list of them, and a notice period in writing.
  8. Do your support hours cover our shifts, and who answers the most serious faults outside them? Good answer: Hours that match our opening times, or a named out-of-hours route.
  9. What does it cost to get our training records back, and in what file format? Good answer: A written figure and a named format, before we sign.
  10. How do you count staff who share a tablet at a site? Good answer: One account per person, with the price per user stated.

Alternatives to YOOBIC, including buying nothing

Four products fit where YOOBIC stops. Each paragraph below says where. Buying nothing is a fifth route.

Axonify reaches beyond the shop floor. More than 75,000 Walmart associates in 150+ US distribution centres use it. Archrock technicians in areas without internet access can download documents. Marriott International used it with 800,000+ associates in 9,000 locations.

Confirm fits if your training must reach outside your own staff. YOOBIC’s terms limit use to your employees and contractors. Confirm’s Learn:Go product offers branded external academies for distributors, contractors and franchised locations.

TalentLMS offers TalentCards, which covers training on its own. It is a mobile training platform for teams who are not behind a desk. You make courses on a computer and staff take them in a smartphone app. YOOBIC prices by stores and by the parts you pick. TalentCards suits a buyer who wants no task or message tools. A free plan covers up to 5 users. The Standard and Premium plans cover up to 2,000.

Schoox suits a buyer who wants a bigger course library. YOOBIC’s OpenSesame partnership brings in 25,000 ready-made courses. Schoox puts its count at over 40K pre-made courses on its content page. Its platform page gives more than 100,000 courses from 13 providers. Ask Schoox which figure is current.

Buying nothing yet is a real option. If your current learning system already reaches store staff on their phones, a second app may add little. The learning management systems guide lists the other products in this market.
