AI interview software for companies over 2,000 people

Start with HireVue, Maki or Apriora if you run Workday, SuccessFactors or Oracle. Add Eightfold if Oracle Recruiting Cloud is your only system. None of the seven below gives a price before a demo. Eightfold’s own guidance puts it in the five figures. Check one setting before you sign. Apriora can book the next interview by itself. HeyMilo can move or reject a candidate on its score.

If it fits

Eightfold (Oracle only, up to 5,000 people) · HeyMilo (many systems, can act alone) · Spotted Zebra (published audit, no direct system link) · Glider AI (named for two systems, no published audit or data agreement)

Watch

Apriora and HeyMilo can act on a candidate with no recruiter. HireVue's price also rises 10% a year unless you cancel in writing 60 days before renewal.

A proven link to Workday, SuccessFactors or Oracle decides this shortlist

HireVue, Maki and Apriora already prove that link, each with named customers. Eightfold proves it only for Oracle Recruiting Cloud. HeyMilo, Spotted Zebra and Glider AI prove less.

Demo HireVue, Maki or Apriora. Four more fit a specific setup.

HireVue proves it runs inside Workday, SuccessFactors and Oracle

HireVue is a named Workday Select Partner. More than 140 customers are live on it. Fifty more run on SAP SuccessFactors, and over a hundred run on Oracle or Taleo. In a pilot, HireVue moved AdventHealth's applicants through screening 79% faster. AdventHealth hires close to 25,000 people a year. HireVue says its models get yearly independent audits. The one it publishes is dated 2023.

Maki proves it inside SAP SuccessFactors and Workday

Maki's interview agent is called Mochi. It works with SAP SuccessFactors, SmartRecruiters, iCIMS and Workday, among more than 30 systems. Every company Maki names for Mochi has 1,000 employees or more. It comes with five European languages as standard, and adds more only on request. Your recruiters can set filters that reject a candidate automatically. Maki's own product page says no candidate is ever auto-rejected. The filter is real, and it is a setting you choose. An outside auditor, Holistic AI, checked it in March 2026.

Apriora proves it inside Workday, and can act without you

Apriora's product, Alex, is an official Workday partner. Scores and recordings sync to the candidate's record as they happen. Its Coordinator books the next interview by itself once a candidate clears your bar. Apriora says it never auto-rejects a candidate. Warden AI audits it for bias every month. What you pay is priced against your headcount.

Four more fit only a specific setup

Eightfold lives only inside Oracle Recruiting Cloud, bought through Oracle's own marketplace. It fits a company of roughly 1,000 to 5,000 people. It has already passed a bias audit under New York's Local Law 144. HeyMilo sends results into Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Greenhouse and more. A score you set can move a candidate forward in six systems. It can also archive or reject them in Workday, Bullhorn and Avionté. Someone on your team has to switch this on. Spotted Zebra links to other systems only through another company’s connector. Its published bias audit, dated 10 Sep 2026, was tested on invented candidates, not real ones. Glider AI is named for SAP SuccessFactors and Workday.

Skip these four at this size

Employment Hero's interview runs in only four countries. They are Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the UK. It has nothing in the United States. On Ribbon, work-account login, separate teams and a security review come only on its top plan. That plan is priced by quote. CodeSignal sizes its two priced plans for companies of up to a few hundred people. Its Workday, iCIMS and Oracle links come only on its top plan, Pro, which has no public price. Humanly links fully only to Greenhouse. Its Workday link is not built yet.

Five more are special cases

  • Talview Ivy writes results into Workday and Greenhouse. It usually wants about 150 to 200 interviews committed before it starts.
  • Tengai reaches only Nordic recruiting tools. It speaks English or Swedish, and translates questions into Norwegian and Danish. One of its own pages says it can screen and recommend candidates without a person. Others say a person decides.
  • Greenhouse Voice AI works deepest inside Greenhouse Recruiting. It is also sold on its own for companies on other tracking systems. The price is set yearly against your headcount with no cap at renewal.
  • HackerRank Chakra and Metaview Screening fit teams that already use HackerRank or Metaview. Size is not what decides either one.

Every quote depends on your headcount, hiring volume and systems

Eightfold comes closest to a real number. Its own guidance describes a cost in the five figures for a company at the middle of its size range. That figure already covers three security certificates. ISO 27001 covers keeping information secure. ISO 42001 covers managing AI responsibly. SOC 2 is an outside audit of security controls. If Oracle already runs your recruiting, you can pay through Oracle’s marketplace. The cost can then come from money already committed to Oracle, not a new budget line.

For a sense of scale, HireVue holds three US federal contracts, from $2,196,592 to $2,800,780. None of them names this specific interview tool.

The rest explain how they price, not the amount. Apriora prices against your headcount. Maki charges per candidate conversation, and switches on and bills each of its agents separately. Talview adds an extra charge once a pilot passes ten candidates. Glider AI's pricing page ends at a request for a demo. Spotted Zebra publishes no pricing page at all.

HireVue's price rises 10% a year on its own. A letter has to reach HireVue's renewals address before 60 days are left on your term. Otherwise the price rises. Write that date on a calendar the day you sign.

Vendors give you different amounts of time to take your data when you leave. Eightfold gives you thirty days in writing once a contract ends. HeyMilo sets sixty days by default for one candidate's file. It sets ten business days for all your data once the whole agreement ends. Put a number of days for Talview into your own contract.

Two tools can act alone, and three dates change the contract

Apriora and HeyMilo can act with no recruiter

Someone on your team has to switch each setting on. In New York City, the bias audit and candidate notices fall on the employer, not the vendor.

Get each renewal term in writing before you sign

Get written renewal terms from Maki, Apriora, Eightfold, HeyMilo, Talview and Tengai. Spotted Zebra’s published terms cover a different product. Put every renewal date on a calendar the day you sign.

Glider AI, Talview Ivy and Tengai publish no bias audit

Apriora, HeyMilo, Maki, Eightfold and Spotted Zebra each publish one.

Three legal dates change what a contract must say

Reading a candidate’s emotions with AI has been banned in the EU since 2 February 2025. The UK’s rules on decisions made by software alone have been in force since 5 February 2026. From 2 December 2027, a tool like this falls into Europe’s high-risk category. Get each of the seven to commit to each date in writing, for every country you hire in.

What should you ask each of the seven before signing?

  1. HireVue: What happens if we do not write to you 60 days before renewal? Good answer: A written date, sent to us, not left for us to track.
  2. Maki Mochi: Who on our side can turn off the filters that reject a candidate automatically? Good answer: Only a named admin, and it is off by default.
  3. Apriora: Who can turn off the Coordinator’s automatic booking? Good answer: Only a named admin, and it is off by default.
  4. Apriora: Do fraud checks, monitoring, identity checks and interview booking cost extra? Good answer: A written yes or no, itemized in the quote.
  5. Eightfold: What does it cost once our headcount passes 5,000? Good answer: A written estimate for our own headcount.
  6. Spotted Zebra: Your published audit ran on invented candidates. Will you audit our interview on our own candidates, and who pays for that? Good answer: Yes, and Spotted Zebra pays for it.
  7. Glider AI: Before we sign, will you give us a written data agreement and a list of who else touches our data? Good answer: Both documents, before the demo ends.
  8. Glider AI: Does a finished interview send a result back into Workday or SuccessFactors? Good answer: A written yes or no for the system we use.

Run a pilot first if none of these seven clears procurement

A pilot in one division gives your next budget round evidence from your own candidates, not a vendor's case study.

A division or a country may buy on its own budget. If it has 200 to 2,000 people, read our guide to AI interview software for mid-sized companies instead. If most of your hiring is in Europe and the UK, read that guide. It covers the rules that apply there.

For the full field, read our guide to AI interview agents and its full comparison. Both cover all sixteen tools, with every price and contract term we found.

Sources and method Everything said here about HireVue, Eightfold, Maki's Mochi, Spotted Zebra, Glider AI, Apriora, Talview's Ivy, HeyMilo, Tengai, Employment Hero, Ribbon, CodeSignal, Humanly, Greenhouse Voice AI, HackerRank's Chakra and Metaview's Screening comes from each vendor's own website, product pages, pricing pages, help centre or knowledge base articles, and its own contract or privacy terms, read directly and reconciled on 19 September 2026. What each vendor publishes about its own product is taken as its description of that product. Quotations are verbatim. The size a product suits is our own judgement, made 24 September 2026 from these same sixteen vendors' published customers, contracts and system connections. Where a vendor never names a size itself, that is stated plainly rather than attributed to the vendor. The bias audit and automatic-decision facts for Apriora, HeyMilo, Maki and Tengai were corrected on 25 September 2026 against each vendor's reconciled research file. The four regulatory dates come from the law itself, not from any vendor's page.
